Jase turned his head a little bit. "I guess it's just weird. You're so much like your god parent. You, like, actively participate in the stereotype, whereas I try to destroy mine. It's strange that that happens." Jase started to think about what might make him an Aphrodite kid. He loved grand gestures and putting on a good show. Also, he loved kissing girls. "I like learning about you, Francois."

"Aw, you're so sweet, Jase." François smiled and poked the side of the son of Jase's face. "You're going to make some girl very, very happy." He chuckled and looked back up at the sky. "...Especially with that perfect jawline." The son of Eros slowly closed his eyes with a peaceful look on his face.

Jase looked down and shook his head. He didn't think that comparing him to Piper was right. Piper was an unconventional daughter of Aphrodite, but what she did and how she felt didn't contradict herself, like Jase did with himself. Jase sighed and shook himself out of the thought. "If this camp could have like 12 less Jason's, that would be amazing." Jase joked.

"Would that honestly be boring. Everyone would be..., well." He shook his head and stared up at the sky again, watching the cloudless blue above. He wondered if Mr. D ever got so pissed off that he caused it to rain? Raining inside of camp happens on rare occasions since everything was so supernaturally originated. "Not fun."

Jase reached his hand into his pocket and gave in. He pulled out a cigarette and lit it, resting back more on the tree. He would not have expected anything like this to have happened, that day or any day. Jase placed the cigarette between his lips and took a deep breath, exhaling smoke, and looking over at Francois. So strange. He thought.

The son of Eros could smell the secret and immediately turned his head to look over at Jase. It took him by slight surprise to see him staring back. "What? Captivated by my beauty?" François charmed with a playful wink. "You know, you shouldn't smoke those, Jase. They aren't good for you especially here at camp where you basically die everyday."

Jase took a long drag of his cigarette, and blew smoke out of the side of his mouth. "I know that, but it's not enough to stop me. I could be closer to death." Jase said with a small shrug. Honestly, he didn't have all that much to care about and it showed. Jase placed the cigarette between his lips again.

"And for that reason you're smoking? I know you have to be wanting to live a long life, right?" François glanced over at Jase for a couple of seconds before turning away and staring up at the sky again. "I know I do."

Jase shook his head. He had never expected to live a long life. "I know myself. I'm meant to burn out, and burn out young. Even if I wasn't a demigod, I would die young." To Jade, that was almost flattering himself. So many greats had died young, so he assumed that he would to. That was just the nature of greatness.

"How did you come to that conclusion?" François asked, raising an eyebrow. "Obviously with us being demigods, our lives are already on the line, but if we were mortal...our lives wouldn't be that bad would it?" The son of Eros looked over at Jase and moistened his lips. "...Would yours?"

Jase shook his head. "It's nothing like that. I have a good life, and I know that. I just don't think it's going to last a long time. It's the nature of greatness." Jase said, taking another long drag from his cigarette. It was true that he was trying to quit, but it had less to do with it being a bad habit, and more to do with the money it cost.

Without saying anything, the son of Eros took the cigarette from Jase's mouth and tossed it away. "I forgot how cocky you are, Sir Jason." François teased.

Jase shrugged his shoulders. "It's not cocky if it's true." Jase said with a small laugh. He didn't feel bad being like this. There were people who were just destined to be great, and he was one of them. It was meant to be.

Jase raised his eyebrow dramatically at Francois. That was a really weird thing to suggest, even for him. Jase didn't really know how to respond to a statement like that. "Um... what?" Jase knew that he was good looking and all, but what did Francois possibly mean by a photo shoot? For what possibly?

"A photoshoot. For a magazine cover or something." He clarified with a smile. "You're telling me that you've never done what? Even just for fun?" Francios rolled over on his back and looked at Jase. "Dear, Stoic. You're messing out, honey."

Jase shook his head and rolled his eyes. "And why would I do that?" Jase asked. The son of Aphrodite pulled another cigarette out of his pocket and then decided against it, remembering the real reason he was trying to quit. Jase took the whole box out of his pocket and tossed them to Francois. "You're right. Keep those away from me. I have someone I don't want to hurt."
