Life before CHB:Lucy lived in New Jersey knowing few friends and was the target of bullying. :( she was a major book worm :study: then after final exams a mysterious man showed up and threw giant spikes at her. At that moment her best friend Alex (a stayr) threw her a sword and she sliced the monster's head off. then without hesitation Alex dragged her to camp half blood with 2 other demigods. During the journey they battled 10 diffrent monsters

Life before CHB: Jake lived in an RV with his mom and cat. He was kicked out of many schools and often traveled. His mother decided he should be home schooled, but it never happened. Later, at a local high school in Georgia, he befriended, Oliver, the school satyr.
