Reading books

I hold up the book. "Maximum Ride. One of the greatest books ever."

"I'm going to have to disagree."

I raise my eyebrow. "Uh huh, and what book would be in your number one spot?"

"The Mortal Instruments," I said as I walked over to the 'C' section and grabbed the first book in the series. I set it down on the table as I walked over. "Best. Book. Ever!"

I laugh. "Hey, I didn't say Maximum Ride was the greatest book ever, I just said it was one of the greatest." I close my book. "So, what brings you here?"

"Here to the library? I needed to find a book to read."

"So did I. I've been really bored lately."

I nodded. "I see."

"Huh? What do you see?"

I smiled. "I see the Maximum Ride book, I see the Mortal Instruments book, and I spy with my little eye something gray."

I laugh and look around. "Um, I give up,"

I looked around quickly. "That metal bookcase." I said quickly.

I look to where she was looking. "That's more of a white-ish grey, but okay."

"Pfftttt....so?" I asked while laughing.

I laugh too. "There's a difference to some people!"

"Really? Gray and white are so not different!"

"Gray and white? Yeah they are!"

"Pffttt..... I've got nothing."

I laugh. "Nice!"

I laughed along with her.

I slowly stop the laughing into a small giggle. "Me and Xander are friends now,"

"Yeah, I heard, he told me," I said with a weak, forced smile.

I thought I saw him walk in. But I was more concerned about Luke's 'smile.' My expression turns to concerned. "Are you okay?"
