I heard the sound of a viola being played, and navigated King behind a huge boulder. I swung off King, and made a gesture. In response, King galloped over to a pond and started to take a long drink. Giggling, I put my d1500 to my face, and started taking professional pictures of the boy playing the viola. I hid behind the boulder, but even though I was hidden, I never was discrete. I made a lot of noise giggling, snapping twigs and rustling the leaves of a tree next to me. I always secretly took photographs of others, even if I didn't know them. I did it because photography is my biggest hobby, and I just absolutely loved it.

I continued to take photographs, giggling sweetly. King the horse swung his long head towards me, and observed what was happening, munching on tall green grass.

I immediately stop what I was doing, and dropped my D1500, which hung below my chest by a strap. I clamp my hand over my mouth, trying to muffle my giggles, but it was too late. I hopped behind the boulder, leaning all of my weight on it. I breathed in, and out. I hoped he didn't see me. I wasn't stalking him.

I stood up. "Hey!" I called. I looked around where she was. I clbed behind the boulder. I glared at her. "Hey! What are you doing? What? Are you stalking me?" I asked angrily.I eyed her carefully. I'd been at camp for a long time. I knew there were creepy people here. Murderers. Stalkers. Creepy people. And I had to be careful. I grabbed her wrist. "Hey! What are you doing?" I asked coldly, angrily. The truth was, I wasn't really angry with her. But I didn't want to seem weak, just in case

Post by Edgar Allan Poe 6/10/2012, 7:41 pm

I walked in, kicking gravel and whistling a creepy and long lullaby. A quiet place, finally, in the middle of that noisy and disgusting forest. And there was a weird divine energy around here. It was just perfect to me for sit and wait til the sun goes down. I could even spend the night in that place. Nice place. I sat on the grass ground and stared at the spring cyan sky.

A large black dog crept through the forest, sniffing the ground. Somebody was nearby, she knew it. She moved slowly, creeping towards a glade hidden among the dark trees. She could smell the scent of a demigod, possibly powerful -- somebody related to her master. The dog walked out into the open of the clearing, barking angrily at the boy -- how dare he invade this glade... that her master had conjured up last night. Odd. Maybe her master had expected the boy to come here -- she was, after all, known for some of her prophetic skills due to witchcraft.

I saw a sinister and beautiful barking dog. It was one of the origins of the divine energy. I sighed and extended my arm in it's direction, trying to stroke his dark fur. I was sure it wouldn't hurt me.

The dog, curious, moved forward to let the boy touch her. His scent was just like that of her master's, though mixed with mortal in it... Probably one of her sons. She sniffed the air, smelling something powerful -- her master... no, no, just an image. An IM was forming behind the boy's head, showing the face of her master -- Hecate, goddess of magic, with her dark hair and stern eyes. She looked about twenty five in the image, but her facial expression was one that showed either sternness or, perhaps, even evil.

I held the dog on my lap and began scratching behind his ears. "Nice puppy... Nice mom's officious... You're not outsmarting me..." I finally raised my head and noticed Hecate's presence, getting immediately alarmed. I hopped in a reverence and unconsciously kicked the dog away. I began murmuring any nonsense apologize. I definately wasn't hoping for that. But I could feel the divine energy around that place. I was just so stupid...

The dog yelped as it was kicked away, backing up to a tree. She wouldn't dare bark while Hecate was watching, but she'd certainly nip at the boy's heels as he left the place.

Hecate frowned at Dino, then shook her head slightly. She knew a lot of the demigods were fools, but... she expected more from one of her own children. "You shouldn't be so surprised... glades are rare in these forests -- and don't mumble, you're hardly understandable. Oh, yes, and next time, please don't kick my dog. She doesn't appreciate it, and neither do I."

I nodded at her first two sentences, all I could do was nod. I wasn't stupid at all, you know. I never was speechless in front of people... Gods... Anthropomorphics in general. But I wouldn't act mean with my god parent, principally after hurting one of my not human siblings. "What do you want, sanctity?" I was talking to her the same way a Ghost Buster would talk to a creepy, powerful and very tall spirit who was, above all, his mom.

Hecate frowned a bit more, slightly confused by the name he'd called her... She didn't quite understand what that meant, but it did sound a tad disrespectful. Folding her arms across her chest, she leaned forward slightly to get a better look at him. Barely moving her lips, she replied in something like a hoarse whisper, "And what do you mean by calling me that, Dino? Do you try to disrespect me?"

I quickly nodded no. Nice, first rule is broken. I'm already dead. "Erm, no. I didn't know how to call you. I wouldn't call you mom, or Hecate. Sanctity is how they call the Pope. You're not the Pope, but it seemed like a respectful therm to me."

"Well, yes, of course I'm not the Pope -- but referring to me in a term used for a religious leader of a monotheistic religion is disrespectful, as you are the child of one of the gods of a polytheistic religion. You can, if you please, call me Mom or Hecate." Hecate's expression softened slightly, but not much. She had to feel sorry for the boy, he was at least trying to show respect to her.

I was really that stupid. I forgot the diferences about monotheistic and polytheistic, although I learned that at school. But I never was a good classmate, with typical dyslexia and TDAH. But that didn't count, I was just stupid in general features. I narrowed my eyes a bit, she probably wouldn't kill me in that exact moment. "So, mom. What do you want? Is that because I ignored my sister? You know, I was really busy. And she wasn't really in danger."

Hecate shut her eyes for a moment, taking a calming breath before opening them again. "Yes, this is about your sister. Why would you ignore a ten year old girl, your own full-blooded sister? You shouldn't put yourself before her, especially if she's younger than you. It's very rare for people to have full-blooded siblings in this camp -- you should care deeply for her, even if you are busy."

I sighed, relivied. It wasn't that terrible. I guessed I could explain myself... Maybe get a divine blessing... I wasn't sure about how it worked. Anyway, even if Hecate could read my mind, I wouldn't tell her I was busy because I was leaving a an unsigned gift to my romantic obssession. That would be just riddiculous. "Sorry, mom. I know how rare it is... I'm not doing it again... Please forgive me..." I was mumbling again, but in a loud and understandable way.

"Oh, I've forgiven you... but has your sister? Again, please don't mumble. I might be a goddess, but even we have difficulty understanding incoherent rambling." Hecate tapped her earlobe, then glanced off to her right. Eris was messing with her stuff again, but she could wait. "So, why exactly didn't you pay attention to your sister?"

Hecate smiled at Dino, a bit ruefully, as she cast another glance to her right at Eris, who was rifling through her books. She raised her hand and sent a mini-lightning bolt at her, which sent the goddess running. "Oh, I don't read minds. I prefer a challenge, which would be figuring out what people are saying.... but I can if I want to."

Fine, fine, I wouldn't tell her anyway. I actually trusted in the powers of the goddess of magic. "Not everything I say or think is nonsense..." I whispered. i didn't want her to understand that.
