Random meadow!

I throw my head back, and give an unforgettable sweet like raspberries giggle. "I'm not stalking you for one thing, and what I'm doing is an art. Photography is an art. I always do this, sneaking around, noisily hiding and taking pictures. The pictures are more beautiful if you take them without the people in the photograph knowing. They'd be acting natural, and not posing. I love that. It's beautiful that way," I explained, in a level tone, not panicked at all. I giggled, and said, "Don't need to be angry now."

Hecate drummed her fingers on her desk, frowning slightly. "Are you thinking about what you want me to read yet? I don't have all day, unfortunately, and I used my last spare drachma on this IM."

Hecate shut her eyes a took a deep breath, relaxing. She found herself reaching into Dino's mind, shifting aside a few of his outermost thoughts and moving inward to find the deeper ones. Well, hopefully he just wanted her to read a deep one. Or something.

"Yes, dear, almost done." Hecate sighed, shaking her head. "Try not to ruin my concentration."

OOC: Well. Just that about the girl. That was his reason.

Hecate opened her eyes as she pulled away from Dino's thoughts, shaking her head at Dino in a disappointed way. "Not a very good reason to ignore your sister, huh? You should know better."

"Perhaps you were... but next time, when your sister counts on you, you pay attention to her. Understood?" Hecate's eyes flashed a dangerous kind of red, out of pure annoyance and anger at Dino. Did he not respect his sister at all?

"Unfortunately, I don't watch all my children every second of their lives. You might be irresponsible and rebellious, but that's easy to get over when you love somebody. If you really loved your sister, then you wouldn't have ignored her for some girl. You don't need to coddle her -- just help her when she needs it. Do you understand me?" Hecate chanced another glance to her right; Eris was rifling through her stuff again. She raised her hand to summon another lightning bolt, but the very gesture sent Eris scurrying away.

"Fall in love too easily, hm? What's this girl of yours like? I'm sure if she's charming, you might as well just ask an Aphrodite child on advice on how not to fall in love. Even if they try pushing you into it." Hecate shrugged, uncorking a glass bottle of some potion she had. She sniffed it, then made a disgusted face and corked it again.

Hecate uncorked another bottle, filled with a green-blue liquid that seemed to shift and move by itself. She squinted into the bottle, then corked it again and put it aside. "If you want to invite the girl to prom, go ahead. And actually, yes, you did ask me for counsel about ten seconds ago -- so I find no need for you to be rude about it. If I were any other goddess you'd be ash by now."

"I see that," Hecate muttered, polishing one of the vials with her shirt sleeve. She examined the glass, seeing it was nice and clean of fingerprints. "Yes, yes... Are you coming to Olympus on Wednesday? If you are, bring your sister -- that is, if you want her along."

"Alright, then I'll be expecting her." Hecate glanced off to her right. Nope, no Eris this time. "That'll be fine -- the bus should get her there in one piece, as long as none of those other idiot demigods try to blow it up."

"In some ways, yes. In others, no. Just like every godly parent, I see sides of my children that I respect and love, but also their shortcomings and flaws. But in general, yes, I am proud of you, Dino." Hecate nodded, folding her arms across her chest. The IM would probably disappear any minute now....

"Yes, I suppose it is.... Goodbye then, Dino. I hope to see you on some future Olympus trip soon." Hecate stuck out her hand, like she was pointing at Dino, and swiped it through the IM, causing it to dissipate on both ends of connection.
