I dodged the blow, grabbing his hand and twisting it until I heard three loud CRACKs! "One good thing about ADHD, super-quick reflexes!" I pushed him away. "Now let her speak! Before things-" I cracked my knuckles. "Get too bad! Can you see, Gavin? She just lost her Pa and here you-" I caught myself- "WE are, saying the F word and hitting each other!" I put my hand, lightly, on Amber's back.

BIC Suddenly a massive -what looked like a cross between a golden eagle and a California condor- the size of a horse swooped down, and in it's talons grabbed Amber and flew up hundred of feet into the air. A voice called down. It was a woman's voice, drowned in a thick Russian accent. And it was cold as ice.
"Thanks boys! For making my job so much easier!"
