I tugged the reins to the left, and Lucy immediately changed course. I looked back quickly and saw we were moving farther and farther away from the others. I flipped the switch on the walkie-talkie, and clipped it to my belt.

I turned slightly to face Jason so my voice wouldn't be lost in the wind. "Jason, I have a pair of binoculars in the bottom pocket of my backpack. Reach in and grab them, would you?" I asked him. I was steering the pegasi, I felt it would be nice if he had something to do too. I smiled at myself, glad I had packed some "unnecessary" items, who knew binoculars would have come in handy?

I squinted at the ground, seeing it zoom by at the speed the pegasus we were on was going. I held the harpoon tightly, wondering if I should maybe find a way to tie it to my hand so it wouldn't slip out and risk hitting somebody.

I had looked around , searching closely for the cave, wish the serpent had given us a map or something.Huh, weird, a map leading to another map.I saw a few caves in the distance but none shaped like a cobra.
