I waved back, and picking up the harpoon took a leisurely jog towards the beach, and hopefully the dock with the boat.

I reached the beach dock, breathing hard since I'd broken into a sprint towards the beach, but not actually very tired. I looked around for the others, stepping towards the boat.

I lightly tugged the reins and whistled. Lucy bucked and sprinted, eventually taking off with a flap of her large silvery wings. We glided over the tops of the trees and quickly descended when we reached the docks.
