Eric's Quest

"well, there should be another piece in the map maybe it's ....." I inspected the map but found nothing but a few dusty stains.I brushed the stains away and their was writing in greek but the last word was scratched out"it says it's within a pyramis but shal only open the crypt of the mummy's tomb with this fraze, thou who walks the plains of wheat, shal recieve the jewels of.... and it cuts off their."

ooc:it's a puzzel to decipher, but in result it's 'thou who walks the plains of wheat, shal receive the jewels of dreams, that is what needs to be said to the cript for it to open and receive the pearls, then they run from the scarabs set as a trap to protect the pearls, then they go to the bermuda triangle to face the kraken.

Jason realizes that he was sick, and tired. Jason felt something. His father needed him. But what for? Jason sighed. He would have to leave camp for a while. Jason looked back at the others. "I have to leave the quest. I've loved being with you guys, but it's important." Jason waves and leaves. Soon, he finds an airplane, and takes a flight back to home.

I sighed at Eric, shaking my head slightly. I shouldn't have agreed to come on this quest at all... It was taking too long. "Guess we won't get any more reinforcements, huh, Eric? We'd better hurry, this is getting tiresome."

Ophelia took off after the others on her pegasus.

ooc:so, what about the 6th person, I did pm Dan to see if he would like to join and he is considering at the moment so we should just continue on until then.

"Continue onward, there isn't much to do. We still have our deadline, so we better meet it."

"ok then" I said and commanded my pegasus to go faster.

ooc:time skip to landing at the Egyptian temple?

I landed the pegasus right in front of the temple"alright guys, we are here now".

Ophelia landed the pegasus beside Katy's and Eric's.

I looked around, letting out a low whistle. "Looks like there'll be lots of traps inside. We should definitely keep on our toes around this place."

"'course. Children of Ares just know these things." I climbed off the back of the pegasus and looked around, rolling my shoulder. It was being chafed by the rope holding the damaged harpoon, but it wasn't so bad anymore. A bit stiff, though.

I shook my head, shifting the rope so that it was on my shirt, not the skin between my shoulder and my neck. "No, no, I'm fine. I'll carry it in hand when we get into the temple."

I nodded at her and had remembered the harpoon was on my back, it was about 100 pounds heavier then Kendall's but that was ok, it did slow me down a bit though, but it would only make me stronger.

ooc: permission to drag Arek along?

ooc: ... And here I was thinking harpoons normally only weighed up to 75 lbs. Eh. Syn could probably just fast-forward when he posts as Arek...

"Well, okay guys. Everybody have their walkie-talkies?" I pulled out the walkie-talkie from my backpack, glancing around at everybody. We'd need to stay together, though if we got separated these things would be helpful. Unless they got smashed.

ooc:meh, I never knew that but it could be if designed like that.

ooc: i have been away for far to long. jeez, when did you guys pick up? anyways, im sorry i was gone for so long. i am currently running 3 of my own sites and trying to keep another site going. it is difficult, so i hope you guys can understand. if i had some help i would get done faster, but none of my little buddies will get on, and no one is joining, so yadda yadda yadda. im back for the time being, and during this time, i have about 2 days starting now where i will be a bit more active.

so mason is gone. wonderful. we are currently in egypt, thats better than i thought. ugh..i hate reading.


bic: arek snapped out of his little daze. he realized they were in egypt, which was a bit surprising to him. he didn't know they had been doing all this. how did he get here in the first place? he doesn't remember walking. "when did all this stuff happen? did i pass out or something? what is going on?"

I nodded, shifting my backpack strap a little to make it more comfortable for me. The harpoon weighed heavily on my back, and I sort of realized I was pretty tired. That was no good.... Dang. If only I'd brought coffee or something. "Yeah.... Do we need torches or something? Flashlights?"
