Anatkah gaped at the new-comer. It couldn't be. Clytemnestra. She'd killed her! She'd seen the body. What had gone wrong this time? Why couldn't she just stay dead? But... maybe... She had to try. "Hey!" she called cheerfully, taking a step forward.

I see Clytemnestra walk in. My jaw dropped all the way to the bottom of the skyscraper. I unsheathe my pole-arm and shadow-travel in front of her, leaping towards her as I escape the shadows while I yell, "WHY WON'T YOU STAY DEAD?!"

I look up, and stare at the girl for a moment. Then my eyes narrow. "You," I growled. "I bet you thought I wouldn't notice, would you. Ha. You're in big trouble now," I walked up to the girl and... Walked right past her. I knelt down and picked up a scruffy cat. "What are you doing here? I thought I shut the cabin door behind me," I shook my head.

My eyes were bright, tear filled. I heard the word murderous and assumed I knew what they were talking about. "I-if this is about that puppy, I didn't euthanize it! The shelter I volunteer at- the shelter I brought it to is a No Kill Shelter!He wasn't even that dick! He stepped on a bee, that's why he was limping! I mean, I adopted him out yesterday to a single father from Guatamala! He gave it to his son! Named him Rafael!" I cried, assuming they were referring to the rumor that I'd euthanized a puppy.

Anatkah was starting to agree with Chris; Thanatos was being an idiot for not locking her away in a cell all her own. She was a brilliant actress... yet her eyes were wide and fearful, not laced with vindictiveness and cunning like last time. How her soul had escaped this time she had no idea. Something was wrong with the girl. If they let her go, she'd have to tip off Demetrius that the girl who tried to kill him was on the loose.

Now I was hysterical. I scrambled to my feet and ran across the road to fetch my cat. I crossed the road and was very nearly hit by a truck in my hysteria. I scrambled away just in time, slipping face fist unto the mud. I lay there, trembling like a leaf.

"COME BACK HERE SO I CAN YELL AT YOU!" Anatkah yelled after him. "Gods, I hate shadow-travel," she said, swinging around and kicking a wall with all her might. The wall trembled and all she achieved was excruciating pain in her right foot.
