Life Before CHB: Candace, apart from getting expelled a lot, was one of the "preps" in school. Her father, Adam, never favored her. He eventually got married to a woman with a daughter of her own. Candace hated both of them, and they hated her back. It was fortunate for her when Adam told them that Candace was a demigod. They thought he was mad, and soon they divorced. Candace was pleased that she could get "daddy" for herself, but her happiness didn't last long. While she was at school, the English teacher turned out to be a manticore. He cornered her in the library, and she had a narrow escape. It turned out that one of the "nerds", as she called them, was a satyr. The satyr rescued her and Candace gave him a grudging respect. He hustled her out of the school and explained to her on the way that she was a demigod. Her father had known it, but he had never told her. After somebody called her father and told him she was safe at camp, Candace was claimed by Aphrodite and went to the Aphrodite cabin.
RP Example: "Ahh~!" I yell, terrified, dodging the rapid volley of spikes that were thrown at me. I know I can't do this for long. One of those spikes will embed themselves into my skin. Maybe a dozen. I scream as one of the spikes almost pierce my arm. How long will it be until death?
Any notes about your characters: Candace's favorite color is hot pink, and she has her earlobes pierced.

Life Before CHB: Kristen wasn't your average girl, even before she discovered she was a demigod. She was a loner, with few close friends. She seemed to speak in only "yes" and "no" sentences. She was expelled a lot (all demigods are) and was gossiped about as being a vampire (no, she isn't goth, if anybody is curious). She was attacked by a Cyclopes when she was 15, the age in which she found Camp Half-Blood. Luckily, she escaped by jumping out of the window, catching on to a ledge and climbing down carefully. She fell for about one foot, but wasn't injured. She ran home and told what happened to her mother. She was shocked when her mother, who usually was calm and cold, burst into to tears and started explaining everything. The next day, before any monsters could track them down, they drove to Camp Half-Blood.
RP Example: "What... What are you~?" I scream as it nearly sends me flying. "Um, never mind." I know, that was a stupid thing to say, but I had realized it was a Cyclopes. I look around, and see the open window. Desperate times, desperate measures, one part of me says. The other just says, You're crazy. Just cry for help. But the better part of me knows my stupid school would just think I was mad. I have no choice. I wait until he tries to punch me, then... AHH~! I fell down, down, down. Wait, what~? No, that wouldn't do. I reach out as I pass the second floor window. I was hanging by one hand from the ledge.

How big of an area can she make cold? How long(if at all) does she have to wait inbetween each use?

You mean she can drop the temperature to 10 degrees Fahrenheit or drop it 10 degrees?

Life Before CHB: Sabrina was thought average in most schools on the beggining of the first day, but then people started getting tired of her wailing around the corriders and in the girls' bathroom. She got called a crybaby, which of course made her cry even more. Most people thought it was unusual that she got upset but never angry, and started blaming it on her mother. Alexia got mad, and she blamed Sabrina. But nobody blamed Cocytus, her godly parent. Anyway, since Sabrina cried a lot, monsters sensed she was a demigod because only a child of Cocytus or his Roman form could cry all day. She was attacked in the girls' bathroom by a hellhound that appeared as a black Chihuahua to the mortals. She had a narrow escape, only because the hellhound smashed the wall and was temporarily buried in debris and glass (from the mirrors). She ran out of her school and nearly got squashed to death by another monster. She had another stroke of luck, because a satyr had smelled that she was a demigod and alerted Camp Half-Blood. She got rescued and sent to camp.
RP Example: "This isn't fun~!" I wail to myself as the thing nearly crushes me with its gigantic paws. What kind of dog is that? I run to the side, ready to jump over the stall door to temporary safety. I start to cry in fright. Why did this have to happen to me of all people? Suddenly, I have better luck as the giant dog crashes into the wall. Pieces of wall and glass fall on it, and I take the opportunity and run.

Life Before CHB: Jasmyn was a regular girl, except for her obsession on plants. Her friends, in secret, thought she was strange. One day, while Jasmyn was blabbing away as usual, her "friends" backstabbed her and walked away. Except the monster pretending to be her friend. Jasmyn was hurt and angry. She badmouthed her "friends" to the monster, who faked understanding and took her in an empty aisle. There, he changed shape and attacked her. Jasmyn, who was thankfully quick, escaped from the scene. She demanded an explanation from her dad, Jesse, who had no idea what was going on. Jasmyn was confused until some campers arrived, alerted of her presence, and took her to Camp Half-Blood.
RP Example: My sneakers thud against the ground as I run. Some twigs get caught in my hair, which has come out of its ponytail. "Argh~!" I yell, in frustuation and pain, as I trip and fall over the hard pavement. I stand up, clutching my grazed knee. I look behind me. Nothing is there, but I have to escape before the monster gets me. Some people passing by stare, and I realize I must be a sight.

Being sensitive and easy to upset can be considered the same thing, so I suggest you add another flaw or two (preferably not related to her emotions).

I don't think you answered my question properly.... Again, did you mean dropping it by 10 degrees or lowering down to 10 degrees Fahrenheit? Does the temperature need to go back up by itself when the time limit's over?

I meant lowering it to 10 degrees. The temparature goes up by itself when the time is up. Sorry I didn't answer that before.

We only allow people to lower the temperature to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

I suggest phrasing your power to say "lowers temperature to 50 degrees Fahrenheit," rather than saying "maximum 50 degrees Fahrenheit."
