Life Before CHB*:Katarina had a good life before Camp Half-Blood, which is odd.She had many friends, some which she never did trust.Only two friends, she trusted her life on.Adam Vernet and Ashley Lern were those two friends.One Sunday night, Katarina was asleep,but woke up as her room felt as if it was slowly heating up. As soon as she stood up,flames came sweeping through the crack in the door.She heard gun shots and her step-father came in,ordering her to get under the bed.She did as told and waited,terrified.
The door opened and she heard a shot of the gun form David and a shot from the a person,still unknown to Katarina.As David fell to the ground,Katarina could see the blood on his shirt,his blood.[/i]He had been shot and was dying. "PAPA!"yelled Katarina,tears running down her eyes knowing fully well David was going to die."Katarina"whispered David as he closed his eyes.The flames caught up to her,burning her skin and the smoke making it harder to breathe.With all that has happened she just gave in letting the flames take her into the darkness.
Katarina woke up to see a worried pair of green eyes staring at her.The eyes moved farther away and Ashley came to view with Adam at her side,both ready to guide her into the life of a demigod.
RP Example*:Katarina gazed into the sky,bored.She sighed,looking at her surroundings.Ashley and her were able to hike today.Right now they were relaxing in a beautiful open field with a waterfall a few feet away.Looking at the waterfall, she thought of her mom.Maria always was a fan of nature."penny for your thoughts?"Ashley asked,seeing the sadness forming into Katarina's eyes."Just thinking about mom"Katarina replied,forcing the sadness away."Do you think Apollo knows about me?"Katarina asked,changing the subject."Well duh,look at your neck and the sun for gods' sake."Ashley replied.The sun had shined brighter on them and the necklace on Katarina's neck was shining because of the sun.This was the prove she needs, Apollo is watching over her.

How can she control light around her?

Well, by Apollo being her father and also a sun god, couldn't he control the light of the sun and pass it on to some of his children? I think Katarina could make a room brighter or not as bright as normal if she had that passed down to her. I'm not sure it was just an idea, I could take the power off of here if you would like?

She's asking how, like does she use her mind or hands?

Oh, well she would use either but it's harder for her with her mind so she mostly uses her hands.Sometimes her mind.

Most powerful thing she can do with her light?

I think the most powerful thing she can do with light is make the light bright enough to stun people for a few minutes.

A few minutes is a rather long time.

Well, yes it it a rather longer time,but I'm talking for, like for 1 or 2 minutes if she concentrate long enough to make the light bright enough.Otherwise, if she does it like normal and doesn't concentrate long enough to make it as powerful to stun people for 1 or 2 min. the light only stuns them for 30-40 seconds.

So she could only do it twice a day no matter how powerful it was? And when you say "stun" Do you mean like she makes them just blind, or makes it do they cant move or what?

Yes,twice a day but if she did it powerful enough she would have to rest for a while.When I say stun I mean it makes the person distracted and if she did it powerful enough she would stun them so they couldn't move for some 30 seconds of the minute and for the rest of the minutes they would be dazed and not know what to do.Like, they would be wondering what they were doing.
