Eyes:

Imagine dark brown eyes that follow your every movement—no, kidding. Jane has somewhat large brown eyes that normally are roaming around the corners and sweeping the room: a watchful dog, perhaps? Normally, her emotions could be seen, when she isn’t trying to lock them, that is.

Hair:

Her hair reaches a bit past her shoulders, a shade of brown (which is lighter in the sun at times, like reflecting light) hair color. Her hair is sometimes frizzy when it’s humid and Jane absolutely hates when that happens. She doesn’t have wavy hair, more like messy, straight hair. That straight hair would be in a messy bun, quick ponytail, or a braid most of the times.

Height:

Well, jeez, Jane is kind of short? Well, maybe, depends on one’s point of view, really. Jane would be 5’1” tall, resting quite short on the scale compared to some of the other taller (and normally scarier) females that she knows.

Body Type:

A fairly fragile looking body. She has a ‘straight’ body type, though she wishes she could at least have a bit more of chub.

Skin Color:

A fair skin color with a few freckles here and there.

God Parent:

The goddess of curing illnesses, Akeso.

Mortal Parent:

A women in her mid-40s known as Rose Davis would be taking care of Jane, yet her actual parent was a man called Harry Davis.

Country of Origin:

The U S of A. Currently located in a small town in the big city of Los Angeles that is located in California.

Pets:

Well, she did have a small dog named Roxy. Did being the key word. The dog soon was lost, never to be found again. Truly, Jane and pets don’t mix well; Jane doesn’t even know how to approach them. This could have been due to that rat (that was a class pet), named Chispers, which always bit her.

Talents:

Oho, talents—big thing, isn’t it? Jane would have some kind of talent that surrounded upon being able to heal well, if that were a talent—she didn’t know. She has quite a nice singing voice (not the best, of course, compared to those Apollo kids), but she doesn’t sing often around people. Though she may seem like a forgetful person, Jane has a stellar memory, but remembers things too late or too early most of the times. She’s also some cook, mind you, she doesn’t like the feminist kitchen jokes, though.

Weapon**:

Oh my, weapons. Jane, even if she’d rather not fight, uses a Celestial bronze sword for her defense. Damn it all, if in time of need of a weapon, Jane would use about anything. But her sword is much loved, even if it is rather cheap compared to some other sword. Well, you can’t ask for everything! Her sword is mostly left in her cabin, though, and a dagger is in use. She isn’t as good with daggers as she is with swords, but she can’t find anywhere to put the damn sword. Jane’s dagger, if she were to tell anyone, is usually located tied around the loop of her jeans. You know that loop that is used for belts?

Flaws:

Jane Davis is rather over-trusting, meaning she trusts pretty much everyone (depending on the first impression, really) after a few weeks. She isn’t rather social with other people, but opens up bit by bit to people she knows a bit more. Even if she trusts you, that doesn’t mean she won’t be that social right away, it takes time, man. Jane’s mind is a weird place with strange logic. She is rather a pushover, letting people take advantage of her. She should really grow a back bone.
She’s lazy, but can get the job – whatever it is – done in some few days.

Life Before CHB*:

Jane would consider herself having a good enough life.

Jane’s family was alright at the beginning, until Rose Davis, Jane’s aunt that had stepped forward to take care of the Jane after the death of Harry Davis (Jane’s actual father), had a child by the name of Alejandro Davis. Now, things were going pretty bad with Rose and her husband, but she had hope of a better future. It obviously did not help that said husband, Joseph Andrews, was – not the best parent, you could say. Anyways, baby born to the family, blah blah. Of course, the attention was directed towards Alejandro in those days while Jane got stuck with most of the chores around the house, but she didn’t mind. She was actually quite good in cleaning and things like that, when she wasn’t a lazy butt. Their location of living would soon change after a few years, from being in the South of the United States to California. Perhaps a big change, which a rather different living style if it was needed.

However, Rose Davis was in danger of breast cancer soon after Jane turned ten. By then, Joseph and herself had gotten a divorce, which left Rose taking care of two children—one which was not hers, but a niece. Jane, however, called her by mother and treated her like one, since she never had a mother. Not one that she remembered, that is. Her father died when she was seven years of age from a gang shooting. It wasn’t unusual to happen around where she lived, but shock and silence filled every corner of the Davis’ house for days.

At the age of eleven, Jane didn’t have many friends among her peers and ate lunch alone. Sometimes, the occasionally conversation with Antonia Lopez, a schoolmate of Jane’s who wasn’t much of the talker either, during lunch happened. Antonia and Jane would become friends at some point, but not ‘till the second semester at school.

And the friendship did indeed blossom between both of the girls. The laughter could be heard and the joy could be seen. But everything good has its end, does it not? On a cold morning in June, there was rain and groans of boredom going around. Jane and Antonia were cheerful though and spent most of the time talking. They seemed to get past their talking issue and gotten closer over the days. The young girls had planned on walking home together, even if the rain would soak through their sweaters and make their teeth clatter together after a while.

With Jane smelling like the demigod she is, no doubt that a monster or something close to that would happen to encounter her one day. And guess what? That day was the day Antonia and Jane had decided to walk together. A monster did make its presence, scaring both of the girls. But who could protect them from such monster? Oh course it would help if Antonia happened to be a demigod or anything close to it but—oh, wait, she was. A demigod without her weapon, which happened to be resting at home, perfect. A quick dash to Jane’s house was made, with a hurried explanation about that it was ‘time’ or something, honestly, Jane was in too much of a panic to know what to think.

Since Rose Davis wasn’t in the right health to do anything for them, she wished the best of luck to them, even if she didn’t quite understand the concept of demigods. A big journey was made to Camp Half-Blood, which tired both of the females out, but they kept on going. When reaching the destination in mind, with scratches and injuries here and there, Jane had collapsed to the floor.

The warm tea calmed her, the soft winds soothed her.

“It’s a nice day, isn’t it?” The small girl asked, taking a sip from her apple juice while swinging her legs. Jane nodded and took a sip from her tea before adding, “Quite, it’s nice to take a break from the rain, right?”

The girl nodded and continued with her drawing while being perched upon the floor of the living room. Her crayons drew silly yellow and blue lines here and there. Jane almost thought the child was drawing nothing. Jane set her cup down on the old, cherry wood colored coffee table and stood up, only to kneel down by the small child that was too preoccupied by drawing.

This lovely girl’s name was Alice Smith, a child to Jane’s neighbors. Alice had been a company to Jane for quite some time, reserving a spot in Jane’s heart ever since. “Is that a tree?” Jane asked, letting a finger hover over the dirty, stepped on paper.

Alice nodded, “Uh huh! Then there’s gonna be a dog and then a house, and then…” she said, rambling off while Jane let a smile rest upon her lips. She gave out a laugh and ruffled Alice’s hair, “Hopefully you’ll be able to draw better than me, huh? C’mon, your parents must be waiting for you by now!”

Bio:

Jane Davis is the typical girl next door. She’s awkward and rather anti-social, but she has her few friends here and there in that dreaded death called school. However, she’s a kind person with well enough morals to go through in this crazy world, yet having too much trust in people. She constantly strives for making the world a better place, or for helping those in need—however, she’s a lazy person that does not do much. As a replacement for the time being, she strives for making the life of her family by helping around sometimes here and there.

Short brown hair and large brown eyes adorn her, with a basic t shirt and jeans. Jane doesn’t care much for how she looks—if she can move comfortably then it’s good enough for her! She has a ‘straight’ body type, as some people may call it, but would rather much have some meat on those bones of hers. She might seem short, but Jane is around her average height for her age group (15) with lying at 5’1”. Despite living near the big city of Los Angeles, Jade has a fair skin color. Her skin gets the usual sunburn when the sun is as evil as it is in the endless summer nights and days, not being one to tan.

She’s a friendly person, she thinks so at least. But not the most talkative, often stuttering over words here and there. She isn’t quite focused on being a secure and confident person, often being nervous around people and sensitive. She’s rather reserved amongst people unless they get to know her. Not that she doesn’t enjoy the silence with herself, quite a nice time to think, thank you very much.

From living in the South of the United States, she obviously had some kind of accent. Ever since spending time living in California, there was a faint southern drawl in her speech. Since it makes her feel different, Jane tries to ‘push’ the accent back.

Being a demigod, there’s obviously fighting involved. Too bad that Jane is rather weak (physically) and doesn’t have much fighting skills at the moment. But she is trying on improving herself so if there was to be a fight, she won’t get killed. Another thing that she rather doesn’t like is her almost no courage when it comes to thinks. But she’s mature-wise, so Jane would be somewhat good in helping other people with plans and such.

Over all, she’s a nice girl with some kind of good mortals but is rather lazy.
