I was out at the beach when a man emerges out of the woods.

Nix looked up, hearing her name being called out. She smiled at Hanson, the way you smiled at a stranger, before returning to her exploration of the beach.

H- She didn't recognize him, he realized with pain. Time to introduce himself. He walked over to her. "Hi. I'm Hanson." He grinned, as if he didn't really know her, as if they'd never really met before.

"Hi, I'm Nix! Nix Mack, I mean Maccio. Daughter of..." Nix narrowed her eyes trying to concentrate, "Ares!" She finally remembered. She smiled wider at him, as she continued to play with her hands, often clutching them together.
