I run in and throw my bow and quiver on my bunk. "The nerve!" I shout as I bury my face into my pillow. Arrow sits on my back and clicks sounds of encouragement.

Andy walked in, expecting this to be his barrack. Instead, he found some girl flipping out completely and instantly felt uncomfortable. "Uh...." He cleared his throat. "Hi?"

I twirl around quickly and notch an arrow in one fluid movement. My face looks worn and angry. My stance is one of a panther. "Who the hell are you and what do you want?" I growl through clenched teeth. Arrow hops up and gets in a pouncing position. A growl rips through both of our lips.

Andy blinked once. Psycho chick. Okay, so maybe she was really cute, but she needed to lose that glare. He raised his hands in surrender. "Look, I'm new. I just wanted to know if you were alright. I guess I'll go." Andy started to walk out quietly.

I watch as he begins to go. I sigh finally. "Wait." Curse my kindness. Why couldn't I be more like Demetri? Last time I saw her when she was little and I was changing her diaper, she peed in my face. Then laughed! But no, I have to be the nice one. I lose my stance and walk over to the boy. "Sorry," I mumble. I hold out a hand. "My name's Huntress. I'm new, too. Yada yada, hey."

Andy turned his head slightly and caught view of her baby soft hand. Her weapons were put away, so that wasn't a threat. He turned around fully and shook her hand. "Andy." He said quietly. "So....you are new, too?" Andy put his hand in his pocket and waited an answer. He wasn't much of a flirt, so he had no idea how to win this girl over. She looked alot nicer without that scowl.

My gaze softens by a small amount. "Yeah, I came here today. This evening." Outside, it was dark and the camp had a scary glow about it. This Andy guy doesn't seem even the least bit fazed. Tough guy, huh?

Andy shifted his weight and put on an almost smile. "It's dangerous out there for a little princess like you to be parading around. You could get hurt, sweetheart." He said quietly, not breaking Huntress's evil gaze.

I clench my teeth. "Little princess my podex." I pull my sword and hold it to his throat. "I think it's high time you leave. And don't ever call me 'sweetheart' again."

Andy smiled at Huntress's anger. He thought of it as a challenge that could easily be overcome. He hit the flat of her sword with his elbow and smacked the braclet on his wrist. When his sword transformed, and held it at Huntress' throat. Now, both of them stood with a blade to their necks. "Well?"

I stand their in shock. This Andy kid is crafty....To crafty. And cute. No. "I could so kill you in a second." I say through clenched teeth.

"But you won't, love. Now if you don't mind--" Andy raised his foot and kicked her sword out of her hand. It flew and stuck into her wall. "I need to go find my quarters."

Andy walked calmly towards Huntress and stepped in her face so that he could feel her breaths. "Not today, love. Maybe later." He whispered. He held her lower back before she could protest, kissed her, then slipped out of the door silently and smoothly and walked to his barracks.

I blink. Did he just...Did we just...? I ball my hands into fists and blush wildly. Maybe I smile a little bit. A little bit! I stomp over to my bed and lay down. Arrow climbs onto my chest. I fall asleep grinding my teeth together in rage. As soon as I wake up....

I wake up feeling like someone just smacked my grandma. I push Arrow's sweaty body off of me and head to go get something for breakfast. I hope to see that ***hole who thought it was just peachy to smooch a psycho on his first day so I can teach him a lesson. Never mess with a Huntress.

I walk in with Arrow and lay down on my bed. I crawl under the blankets and curl up, wishing I had some type of power. Soon, I fall asleep.

I wake up and decide today has to be a better day. I push the covers off of me and stand, stretching like a cat. Arrow, still knocked out on my bed, snorts and rolls on her back. I shake my head, chuckling, and walk out to explore.

I sigh and look up at him. "See you in the morning." Wait, that sounds kind of stalkerish and desperate. Even creepy. So I quickly add, "Because, y'know. Same cohort and all. It's not like I expect you to be here in the morning..." That still sounds creepy! "I mean, maybe you'll be here maybe not. It's your decision. Free country." Nervous laugh. "Gods, I probably sound like an idiot. What I mean to say is goodnight." I blush deeply and look at the ground.

"It's okay, we all make mistakes, right?" I say, Just like the one I might make now, I think to myself. I quickly kiss her and head towards the door. I turn around at the door, "Good night." I tell her then leave in a flash. Gods, she must hate me now, but I couldn't really help myself, I think and head towards my bunk.
