"Uh... I wouldn't know..." I said. "I've never been to one."

OOC: Sorry she was horribly abused as a child so she wouldn't know anything about... Well... Anything.

“Really? Well, neither have I, but I plan to change that this August. I’ve recently acquired V.I.P tickets to the Lollapalooza. The Lollapalooza is a huge alt. rock concert in Chicago that I’ve been dreaming about going to for years. All three of the aforementioned bands will be playing. But, you see, I have two tickets, and I am one person. I could take my therapist, but she doesn’t like alternative rock. So I have to ask, would you like to go with me?

I smiled. "Wow, that's..." Considering she just met me, this was a very gracious offer. "Yes." I said, nodding my head up and down. "Yes!" I said happily. Normally, nothing could make me even smile, but this girl was certainly exceeding those expectations.

Maeve smiled. "That's great! It's during the first week of August, so as long as nothing comes up, we'll be good to go. And belive me, I'm not missing this for the world."

I laughed. Once again, for the first time. "Ha! Then neither am I." I gingerly sat down on a rock. I pet Jackie softly.

Jackie woofed and grabbed the hood of Aster's sweatshirt. "Oh, I didn't catch your name! Who are you?" Maeve asked.

OOC: I know it might seem weird that she's inviting Aster to a concert before she knows her name, but she doesn't have any friends, and she's been feeling sentimental ever since she's gone to camp.

Post by Geniosity 6/17/2012, 8:01 pm

"What? Oh, yeah! I am Aster Krastos, daughter of Thanatos. And you?" I turned my head. "What the-" There was a giant smoking ball rumbling through the sky, with a griffon behind it. Wait, was that... a person? I got up. "Look at that!" I said in awe. Whoever the person was, they were lucky Maeve had made me happy. "Come on, let's go see what it is!" Trying to mask what was really fear inside of my heart...

OOC: And no, there is NOT a look on Aster's face that betrays the way she's acting. She's supposed to be good at that.

BIC: After tumbling through the trees for quite a bit, I finally crash landed, leaving a large hole. I took a moment to assess my body condition. hmm... Right leg bent the wrong way, right leg broken in both big bones, third degree burn up until the knee on right leg(What was it with my right leg today?), severe pain in the rest of the body, about 12 other broken bones, bleeding in about 9 places, with 2 severe cuts, ants crawling all over me, a MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR case of disorientation, and I was on the forest floor, in the place that truly was, farthest away from the infirmary... The very edge of the northern forest. And just when I thought things couldn't get worse, an over-sized cyclopes(yeah, like, the only one in the FOREST! What's up with THAT!?) Appeared right in front of me, club in hand. "Nice, big fat cyclopes... Nice little boy, yeah that's righ-... This is hopeless." I muttered. The Cyclopes roared in anger. Really, I was, for the first time today... Scared.

OOC: Lol Ack someone save me! Heh heh.

Ah yes. There I was. In the middle of the northern woods. Scrubbing pink pain off of Red Storm, my horse. Yes, I was in the mist of an epic pranking war between me, and one daughter of Hestia, Amber Lee. I couldn't believe that she went as low as to paint my horse PINK! There would be serious repercussions. Yes, I'd release an irate paint balloon in her cabin! Ha! She hates orange!

OOC: OK i'll make Westley notice...

BIC: The Cyclopes raised his club, and brought it down. I don't know what gave me the energy to ignore the pain and roll away. It was probably only one thing: The instinct to survive, and see another day. The club hit the ground, making a boom that echoed throughout the forest. Wow. How was it that I could roll away from a Cyclopes' club, but I wasn't able to speak. The Cyclopes roared in anger. It was so loud that I was sure everybody in the forest would hear it, and hopefully, get their butts over here...

I turned my head, which took A LOT of effort. The ants were going crazy biting me. I wanted to cheer whoever had said that on, though I couldn't speak, and even if I could manage ONE word, it would probably be "AAAAAAOOOOOWWWW!". Either that or "Yowza!"

I ran over to the tong boy ad pickedhim up. I brushed the ants off of him and set him in a tree. I fought the cyclops until it died.

I picked up the small child. "Don't worry, I know a girl who should be able to help," I said calmly. I took off my jacket and wrapped it around the kid, just he was going into shock.

I continued to walk aimlessly through the forest. Probably not a good idea. Oh well, it's not like I have anything to lose. I just wanted to get out, I had a serious headache and I just wanted a little moment alone. I mean, who was going to be in the-
I looked up and realized something. Of course, of course there was someone there. Someone familiar. "Hey you," I said, quickening my pace and catching up to the boy, "You. I know you. You're that kid, from that dream I had. You were that kid." Oh wow, I probably sounded like a weirdo. But that was the kid. Raymond? Ricky? Something.

    OOC: This was SO unexpected.

I raise my eyebrow at the strange rainbow-haired girl walking towards me, or running rather. Strange dream about me? Hey, I appear on the likes of people but this is just plain weird. Weird because I think I know her, too. "Um...Hello." I say cautiously, shifting my weight.

Ooc: I know right? Almost as if....it was planned?
