life before CHB: rex was a bit of a quiet person. he didnt share much but was always eager to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. he was in high school and was not a popular kid so he was teased for being quiet and alone. eventually he started attracting monsters so his father told his who his mother is and where camp half blood is. so he packed up and left.
RP example: as rex hiked up the hill that his father had directed him to. his pack seemed heavier now than when he started the hike. as he reached the top of the hill he looked down at the valley filled with greek style buildings and sighed. this was now his home. he looked down the valley looking at the assortment of various aged kids running around and thought "Just more people that i will ignore and they will tease me for it." he shook that idea out of his head. he promised his dad he would try to be social and get some friends.

flaws: has a tendency to goof off and mess with people by hiding their stuff or playing pranks on them. doesnt trust people quickly. hates staying in enclosed spaces.
powers: when others are around terra they seem to have better luck such as: if they were in a bad mood they become happier, if they lost something they find it, trying to learn something but is struggling suddenly gets it when terra is near. the range that her power will work on people is a fifteen foot radius.
life before CHB: the good luck started happening when she was five. at first it was cool because people thought it was just coincidence. then people realized that terra literally good luck so they would often use her to get what they want so she got fed up. suddenly terra realized sometimes she could stop the luck and started playing pranks on the people that used her. she knew she wasnt normal and questioned her dad who flew her to the camp.
RP example: Terra ran hard through the alley hearing the scraping of claws on concrete. she knew she had to do something fast or she would become food. she looked up and saw a ladder and quickly climbed it getting out of reach just in time and when she looked back she saw a tiger whose eyes shone with hate. it started pacing just waiting for terra to come down and she gulped knowing she might die. she suddenly started praying for the luck she tried so hard to turn off and thats when the garbage truck ran the tiger over and kept going like nothing happened.

Im unsure if we allow eagles as pets...add another 2 flaws.

We don't allow migratory birds, since they're illegal to own and we don't allow illegal pets anymore.

Is there a limit to how much luck Terra gives off around her? How far away can a person be at most to be affected by her good-luck presence?

So.... What's the luckiest thing that could happen when a person's around Terra? Do you mean a 15 foot radius or a 15 foot diameter around her? Is she consciously giving people the luck?

the luckiest thing is if they are danger something convienent happens to get them out. nothing great like super powers, invinvibility, or winning the lottery. fifteen foot radius. at first she wasnt aware of it but now she can control it when she has her emotions under control.

If she controls it, does that mean she can shut it off for a few hours or distribute it to various people? How many times a day can she control the luck, and for how long each time?

she can shut it off completely for a maximum of three hours if she concentrates. but she cant distribute it to certain people. only once a day can she control it and that is for either the shut down or a few minutes at a time if she just needs to turn it off for a little bit.

Alright, I suggest you edit in that the range of her luck-aura is a 15 foot radius around her.

weapons: an extendable double bladed staff that he made himself. (the entire thing is made of celestial bronze that was given to him by Hepheastus as a gift for his birth day. it was laying on his bed when he went to bed.)
flaws: manages to find trouble without even trying. is generally quiet when he should speak up. if he ever does get in a fight he cannot control his anger that well and tends to go into an unconscious rage.

life before CHB: at a young age he was known as the kid who could build anything. people would always ask him to help them out with various projects for school or for personal use and he would always say no to the wrong people. he learned to stay in shape and be smart about the things he does but always kept his mouth shut so he can try to avoid the never ending trouble he tends to find himself in. he would talk to friends in school but never tried to make plans outside of school and in his spare time he would sneak into the nearby workshop and tinker around. after he got caught repeatedly by the cops his mom dropped him off at the camp.
RP example: Sonny looked around with his blue eyes flashing in the bright moon light. He crunched down next to the lone tree looking around for the night guard that always circled the shop. Sonny was fairly sure the guard was sleeping right now so he darted across the lawn to the shop vent that he had rigged to get inside when he heard a deep voice say, "Stop right there, son." Sonny swore recognizing the sheriffs voice and turned around. The sheriff shook his head, "Sonny this is the fifth night this month that I caught you. Your gonna have to sit in the cell for the night." The sheriff looked at Sonny sadly, he knew Sonny was a good kid he just had the impulse to tinker with things and didnt have the supplies at home. Sonny held out his hands to be handcuffed but the sheriff shook his head again, "You know I'm not going to hand cuff you." He lead Sonny to the car and drove to the station with Sonny's eyes shining back at the shop hoping no one found the project he had been working on.
