    A Bridge Empty A Bridge

Ari walked with Prince onto the bridge. It was just one of those regular highway bridges, with a sidewalk along each side and benches laid out along the sidewalks.

Prince seemed to be a little dispirited when he noticed how long the bridge was. "Ari... I don't need help." He said suddenly and gently pulled her away.

Ari let go, "Okay.." She glanced out over the bridge. She remembered this was the bridge that she tried to jump off of when she was ten. She decided to not dig deeper into the memory and looked over a Prince. His expressions were harder to read then other people's, which she liked. Some days, unpredictability was better.

Prince stared at the floor while he walked, pretending that he was afraid of tripping, but he could feel Ari's eyes burning over him. Why the hell would she stare at him while she day dreamed? He didn't really want to think about that, so he kept walking, without making a peep. When they were nearly at the middle of the bridge, he finally attempted to talk. "Where did you live before you arrived at Camp?"

OOC: He's almost as inexpressive as Kirsten Stewart. Nobody can read his poker face. By the way, I randomly changed his gif, go check it.

"I lived in Toronto, Canada before camp." She wasn't really looking forward to more questions about her past, partly because she couldn't remember a lot of it.

"I lived in Valparaíso, Chile." Prince replied under his breath. Although he tried to hide that, he really missed his old home and his old life. Well, life changes, we just need to get used to it.

"Oh, Chile's a really pretty place." Ari said. Much of her young life she had spent traveling with her father. She didn't remember his job, but she knew where she had been. Toronto, she considered her home because they were there so much.

"Better than USA. There are too many stereotyped people in here." Prince wasn't suposed too call people stereotyped. He was too bitter to get close to anyone but his twin sister, so he shouldn't have opinions, mainly the rude ones.

Ari nodded in understanding. She hated stereotypes and cliques. She would rather stand out in a crowd of people then fit in. "Yeah, the people here care way too much about their images and not their personalities. It's like judging a book by its cover." They walked a little further.

Prince nodded, speechless again. He probably seemed to be narrow minded or shy, but he wasn't: he was just thoughtful. He didn't like talking the same way he didn't like walking, and he was slightly less depressed when he noticed that the bridge was almost in the end.

OOC: Something terrible should happen right now.

Ari glanced into the forest across the road the bridge intersects at it's end. She felt a presence but couldn't tell what it was.

OOC: I can't think of anything. Sorry.

Prince slow down his steps. He had a bad feeling. He took Ari's hand in an unconscious gesture.

Prince smirked at Ari. "Why are you hesitating? And trembling? That's just a creepy forest at the end of a creepy bridge." He wasn't scared at all, maybe he simply weren't able to be scared of such stupid presentiments. Still, he had common sense. He took that bad feelings seriously, but not enough to prevent him from going back to CHB.

Prince nodded slightly. He walked into the forest, still holding Ari's hand.

After 100 metres, they heard a loud and alarming noise. Something moved between the woods. It was probably a bunch. A bunch of what?

Prince was really desperate. He murmured next to Ari's ear. "I can hardly walk... My powers only work with human beings..." Soon she would be nervous too. Then, they would die. Prince fought too much in his life to die like that.

Ari was taught not to panic, not to fear. "Don't worry, I got it." She pulled out her ivory wand and started murmuring a charm, the invisible shield. It wasn't her strongest charm, and certain beasts could see through it. She was worried it wouldn't work.

A group of drachaneae jumped out of the woods and walked straight by them, confused. Prince raised his eyebrows at Ari, but she hardly could see it.

Ari felt another presence... A stronger one. Crap. She thought. She tried to finish the charm and turned towards the drachaneae. Since her specialty was defensive spells, she attempted a fire spell; a ring around them of flames. Because of their snake trunks, she figured that they would stay from heat.

Prince drew his sword, clumsy, and decapitated a drachanea in two hits. He was still a lucky person. His legs were weak, but his arms weren't. Still, he was pretty sure that would be his last fight.

Ari flicked her wand at one of the monsters and two ropes came flying out of the tip, tying around the Drachanea's snake legs and arms.

Prince was able to kill more two or three creatures before he lost his strenght. He was bleeding from several cuts. Predictable. At least, the drachaneae were almost all dead.

Ari shot pins from her wand and pinned the remaining monsters to the trees and shot ropes, tying them. She ran to Prince examining his wounds, "I-I think it's time to call the chariot..."

"Okay. Yeah." Ari pulled out two knives from in her sleeves and thrust them at the tied monsters. "Now... Camp." She helped Prince.
