Bad wounds

"Good. I hate missing things." Lillian didn't like missing important things.

Jess kept reading her book, she wasn't in the mood to see an infected stab wound.

"Take off your shirt for me,"
"Excuse me?!"
"Take off your shirt!"
[Color=royalblue]I will do no such thing!"
"I need to get at that stab wound!"

Jess rolled her eyes, "Calden, just take off the shirt."

I stumbled into the infirmary with the boy who I didn't even know his name. "Um, can someone help? He got punctured by an arrow when a giant fox fell on top of him. Long story." I was a bit panicky at the moment.

I begrudgingly took of my shirt.
"Cab someone please describe what the infection looks like?" I asked.

"Swollen, puss, disgusting." Jess offered.

I rolled my eyes. "Red lines?" I asked.

"No," Jess replied, that wound was truly disgusting.

"Hello! Can somebody please help this poor kid!" I demanded. I didn't wait for anybody to react and set the boy on an empty bed. I had no idea what to do since I never studied any type of medicine. Too much blood.

"Calden, please just take them, if you don't i will let Lillian shove them down your throat." Jess threatened

"Oh my gods!" I squealed a bit. I walked right outside the door. "Okay, do whatever you need to help him cause I'm out!" I felt bad just leaving the boy there even though I wasn't exactly needed. But, I'd probably get in the way.

I begrudgingly took the pills. "Fine..." I mumbled, the smallest of smiles slipping across my face.

I looked rather sad. Helpless. Pathetic. I didn't want them to go. But they did. Who doesn't?
I did the best, in my blind state, to treat Noonian, and it worked. A few days later, he was allowed to leave. I felt bad for him. He and I were friends, and I knew he was lonely. I didn't think it was right that they just left him there and never came back.

Lillian was disappointed, "Awe. I would have enjoyed shoving 'em down his throat."

"Thank you." Lillian smirked.

"That wasn't-" I stopped. "Nevermind. So... what do people now do? I mean for fun?"

Jess had been spacing out for a moment, but came back "Oh, at camp half blood, life hasn't really changed over the years, we do the normal camp things, fight for our lives, climb rock walls while lava threatens to burn our faces, you know, normal teenager stuff." she said sarcastically

"Mmm." Lillian leaned against the wall, crossing her arms over her chest.

"And, um... What are cellphones? People talk about them a lot.

'Cellphones are thingies that make calls and let you download apps,' Lillian said. 'They're not allowed at camp, 'cause they attract monsters. But who wants to follow the rules?'

"People who don't want to get eaten" Jess offered
