Bad wounds

"What's an app?" I asked looking ashamed and rather sheepish.

"Its usually a game that can be played on your phone." Jess explained "Some can be other things like clocks and such, but mostly games."

"Games... Like pong? Or PAC Man?" I asked.

"Yeah, sort of like that." Jess confirmed "So what did you like to do when you were... younger?"

Lillian waited.

"When I was younger?" I asked and laughed a little. "I used to play explorer with my brother, and my three best friends

'Explorer?' Lillian had no idea what that was. It definitely wasn't a video game or an app.

"Yeah. We lived on the edge of a huge forest. We'd find all sorts of stuff out there,"

"Oh, that sounds cool," Lillian said, meaning it. She had always wanted to live on the edge of the woods or the forest or something.

"Nice," Jess said, "All I did was play dolls, and swim"

'Dolls?' Lillian tried not to snicker. 'The only doll I had, she had her arm ripped off.' She smirked.

"Yes, dolls. I was a very girly girl." she responded "Not so much now."

I smirked a little bit, just listening to them bicker.

"What did you do for fun?" Jess asked lillian

"Disobey my mom and pester her." Lillian smirked. "I was a rebellious little girl."

Jess smiled "That I can believe." she commented

"Yeah I can understand that," I laughed.

After a while of silence, Jess started to get uncomfortable, "So," She said "What are we going to do now? Calden, your wound is healed so you should be able to walk around."

Jess nodded "Somewhere dry, though. You can't get that cut wet."

Jess shrugged "Sure, why not? You can meet my Pegasus, Lucky."

"Okay. You know when you've gone too far when you enter Manhattan," Jess said jokingly.
