The Lake

She pushed her body out of the way before he hit her or something. Stupid boy... she said and surfaced again, laying on the surface. She was out of breath... She closed her eyes and laid her wrist over her eyes.

Used Kamehameha to push myself out of the water. I landed on a rock near Sebella. I said, "Do you want to give up on running?"

"Technically, I was swimming. Stupid boy," she breathed, her arm still over her shoulder. "Also, I challenged you to catch me. Not to destroy me. Retarded boy."

OOC: I was aiming away from you to propel myself.

I said, "Speaking of which..." I touched her arm, "...I caught you."

"Well done. Get off," she said and yanked her arm away. She moved her wrist from her face and looked up at him.

OOC: Sebella hates men. She has Daddy issues and doesn't understand why she has never and will never meet her dad. She'll blame everything bad on guys.

I say, "Why do you hate men?"

"None of your bee's wax," she said. Only she didn't say bee's wax, she said something rather more colourful... and filled with cusswords.

I said, "First of all, you used some words I don't know. Second of all, why won't you tell me?" Looks off in the distance thinking.

"Because it's none of your f*cking business!" Sebella said and got to her feet. She started to storm away from the boy to another part of the lake.

Sits and thinks about the day Hades took his fathers life. Then thinks about how it happened because he was Saiyan. Goes to his cabin.

"Oh," I felt a bit dumb and stupid for not thinking. I continued walking backwards and tripped on a rock. My backpack's contents fell to the nearby ground. A water bottle, a book, and my dad's old journal fell out. "Stupid faulty buckle," I complained as I propped myself up on my shoulder while getting up.

"She won't talk to anyone," I say gently, with a slight shrug.

"Thanks," I picked up my dad's journal and hoped I didn't start tearing up. I decided I would carry the journal in case my crummy backpack falls apart. I stashed the other items in the bag and quickly faced forwards this time.

Arielle walked to the lake. The wind played around with her hair as she made her way towards the clear water. Her eyes had changed, along with her mood, to a bright blue. She turned around, halfway to the cyan water, smiling slightly as she waited for Avycyn. The lake was one of her favorite places to go to.

Arielle twirled a strand of dark hair. "So... Do you like to swim?" she asked. She disliked the water; probably because her mother was the Greek Goddess of fire. Stupid, stupid. She facepalmed, mentally. She had forgotten Avycyn's parent was Py - something or the other. It didn't matter; the god was related to fire, anyway.
