    I saw my friends sitting by the lake. I could see Anders hiding behind a tree, so I figured Jace was being moody. I sat next to them and said, "hey guys, what's up?"

    "Oh pretty good," I answered.

    I walked in and saw the girls talking, and also saw Anders hiding from them. I really wantedd to talk to Jace.

    "Hey Marcus! Come with me!" I say as I grab his arm and pull him away. I look back and see Kyler looking at me and giving me a silent thanks.

    I saw Marcus coming towards us, but before I could do anything Anders comes out from behind a tree and pulls Marcus away. I look towards the front again and see Tori and Liane 'small talking' and Jace was looking at her feet.

    I look and ask her, "What's wrong?" I had noticed Kyler look at Anders, but I really didn't care what they were silently talking about. I had heard some footsteps earlier, but really didn't care whose they were.

    I had noticed Marcus, and was glad Anders took care of him, but I hoped Ker didn't come looking for me. I had tried to make sure he didn't follow me, but I wasn't sure he wanted to stay away from me.

    "I knew it!" I said, my theories now confirmed. "You are so ga-ga for him and you know it. It was totally obvious that he liked you, but you just confirmed to me that you do like him back! I wasn't sure at first, but now I do." I laughed insanely at her.

    "Tori!" I said, knowing her comments would very much upset Jace. "Don't be so rude!"

    "What, Liane?" I replied with attitude, still laughing a little. "I'm just stating facts, is there anything wrong with that?"

    "Yeah Tori, seriously," I said, trying to get everything settled down, "stop this, please. Stop this madness. It's not worth it."

    I continued to laugh to myself. "You guys really don't think this is funny, do you? Jace, stop hiding. Especially where everyone can see you."

    She told me to stay. I don't want to. I follow her anyway. I see her and others. The strong girl looks upset. I sit close enough to hear them speak, but far enough they don't notice.
