    Lars winced as he was slapped. It was likely his tricks wouldn't work. What could he do now? Dimitra had the power to beat both of them. "Perfect...I could lead you to camp. You'd surely be let in in Dimitra's body if you played the part.

    Jeremiah took the time Lars had given him to go find Maddie. He dashed as fast as he could to the crowd. They all looked at him angrily. He forgot that the demon aggravated them. "Stupid Eidolon!" He shouted. He dashed away from the group. He dipped and dived around them until he spotted Maddie. He ran to her body.

    "Tempting..." The spirit thought. She debated, then shrugged. "Well. If you wish to assist me bring down your race's demise, then I suppose..."

    Maddie lay there unconscious in a crumbled heap. Her arm was bent in an odd angle and her lip was busted, but she was otherwise fine.

    Lars smirked. He led the monster towards the front of the mall. When they got near the front he turned around and quickly aimed at her. "I'll kill her right now...and without her you won't be able to get into camp!" He shot slyly. He aimed carefully, if he did shoot he would shoot in the leg or the arm, something ambrosia can fix.

    Jeremiah lifted Madeline off the ground. He had to go help Lars. He began to run pushing people out of his way. Soon there was even a mall cop chasing them. "Maddie...I'm gonna get you out of this!" He said calmly but determinedly

    The monster smiled cruelly. "You know you wouldn't. You couldn't." Then she lunged for Lars, aiming for his eyes with Dimitra's semi-long and very sharp fingernails.

    Maddie's only response was a mumble...one about different types of cheeses found in Australlia. Her chest moved with shallow breaths.

    Lars ducked under the lunge of Dimitra. He then backed away a few feet an aimed again. "Try me!"

    Jeremiah dashed to the opposite exit that Lars went to. He continued running until the pair was far away from anyone planning on coming inside the mall. He slowly placed Maddie onto the ground. He took out an ambrosia square from his backpack. He carefully gave it to her. Would she puke it up? Ambrosia had special healing powers though right? Hopefully it would seep past her belimia/anorexia.

    The demon snarled and lunged again for Lars' face, eyes a blazing red. "I will kill you!" She promised with finality.

    Madeline carefully swallowed the ambrosia as it melted in her mouth. The taste of fresh pastries filled her mouth and strength surged throughout her body. Maddie coughed weakly and sat up, almost throwing up. Some how her slight demigod body managed to keep the ambrosia down. She coughed again then looked at Jet with a smile. "Thanks." She said tiredly.

    Lars was surprised when she lunged again but released the arrow. It zoomed toward's Dimitra's torso. Lars stood still with anticipation.

    Jeremiah sighed with relief. Suddenly he realized their friends were in danger. "We have to get back in there! Lars and Dimitra need us!" He said getting up and lowering his hand to help her up as well. When they were both up he began to run frantically towards the entrance of the mall.

    Madeline rushed after Jet, still feeling a little faint but able to sprint. She burst through the doors of the mall just as--

    The arrow pierced Dimitra directly under her ribs. But the spirit had already left with a high pitched cackle. Dimitra gasped and fell to her knees as her blood soaked through her orange Camp Halfblood tank top and now her thin gray jacket. She looked blankly at a space far in the distance.

    Madeline screamed. She ran to comfort her friend as best as she could. Maddie cried softly as she held the dying Dimitra, urging her to drink the nectar.

    Lars's victorious smirk slowly turned into a disgusted frown. The stupid Eidolon zoomed out of Dimitra's body right as the arrow reached flesh. "It won't come back, we should get home while we can." Lars said kneeling next to Dimitra. A single tear rolled down his cheek. Jeremiah stared intently in the backround.

    Madeline shoved Lars away from Dimitra with the force no anorexic teen girl should have. "You did this! Get away from her you...you...meanie!" She shouted loudy, crying over Dimitra's almost-lifeless body.

    Dimitra's heart was beating weakly, but she managed a semi-strong "Get me...to a damn bench. Stop acting so...dramatic." She coughed up some blood, but her body was already starting to glow with healing.

    Lars frown grew deeper. His selfishness had gotten the better of him again. This time it had almost killed someone he lov-, really liked a lot. "Maddie...I-." Lars started. There was no apologizing for something like that. He silently screamed and just ran out of the mall. What was going on with him lately.

    Jeremiah finally arrived at the scene of the drama. He watched as Lars dipped, and made a clueless face. "I should probablly follow him and stop him from being stupid. See you two at camp." He said before giving Maddie a hug.

    Maddie's face went blank. "Um..."

    "Good. Let us borrow a car."

    The girls drove back to camp in their borrowed brown Volvo.
