The Sandy Beach

I strolled along the beach. Things were beginning to become very busy around here. I didn't like it to much. The quite life was a lot nicer. I found a nice little spot under a tree. It was far enough away that my things wouldn't get washed away by the water, and I could also stay in the shade of a tree. The sun... didn't like me to much.
I put my stuff down and opened the small picnic basket that I had gotten. There were two juice boxes, and a sandwich or two. Just in case I had met a friend.

"Kami watashi no ā!" I quickly shout without thinking. "Anata wa daijōbudesuka?" I call out after the girl. Sand flew onto the small blanket, and some of it sprinkled onto my sandwich. My mind caught up to what I was doing, and I realized what I had just said. "I-I mean are you alright?" I feel a pang of embarrassment like I always do when I screw up something stupid like this. I've made the mistake before, and I'll probably make it a thousand more times.
