Blaine's Bunk

Blaine arrived inside of his cabin just as the sun reached it's morning peak. He was relieved to find McGerald resting on his pillow. He must've hopped right off his shoulder on the way to the mess hall. Blaine quickly drew the shutters shut, closed the cabin door tight to seal out any sunlight. He back up, breathing hard, and admired his handy work.

His back turned towards the door, Blaine took the risk to turning on an oil lamp. The rays were less harmful to his eyes, but still left them shining bright green while the reflected the light. He sighed as a bat came from nowhere and perched in the shadows of his bed. Blaine finally turned around---and stood in shock. Arielle was here. For how long? Blaine quickly shielded his eyes. "What are you doing here----close that door!" He ordered desperately.

"Why?" Arielle demanded. She closed the door, anyway. Now, the only light was the oil lamp. "And, to your first question, what did you expect? I don't take 'nothing' as an answer." Impatiently, she waited for an answer.

"That is none of your concern." Blaine muttered, robbing his eyes with his fists. He reached out for a pair of sunglasses so that Arielle couldn't see his eyes. "There is nothing to worry about, so you have no reason to be here." In the darkness, Foster McGerald wrapped around Arielle's legs and mewed.

Holland wandered into the Egyptian cabin. As weird or ridiculous or whatever as it sounded, she liked aimlessly wandering into cabins that weren't her own. She looked around the cabin and her first thought was, Why are all the windows closed? Is it some weird Egyptian thing or something? She didn't acknowledge anyone.

Ooc: Crap. Lol okay fine.

Bic: Blaine glared at the girl who had entered. Why did everyone want to come into this cabin? "What do you want?" He growled.

"Let's see . . . an iPad 4, a computer and another cat so Chai Latte won't be lonely," Hollie said cheerfully, closing the door behind her.

Blaine made a face and uncovered his animal-like eyes. "Good. You closed that door."

"So? What's important about the door?" Holland demanded. "Does it have to do something with the closed windows? Have I interrupted some Egyptian ritual?"

Blaine frowned, his eyes reflecting the light of the lantern wickedly. "I do not know whether I should take offence to that or not. The point is, you don't belong here."

"So?" Holland retorted, "There isn't a rule that people can't go into random cabins and look around, is there?"

"I could ask a director to enforce it." Blaine clipped shortly.

"Why would they listen to you?" Holland asked.

Blaine gestured to the many posters on his wall of many wise leaders. "I am a man of inspiration. I can inspire whomever I please."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever you say." Holland rolled her eyes and started to wander around the cabin, touching people's stuff.

"Watch it. There are scorpions around here." Blaine grumbled, making his bed.

"Whatever. Scorpions are cool," Holland said, continuing to poke around and messing up other people's things.

Blaine heard a crocodile snap. "Careful."

"There are crocodiles in here? That is so cool!"

"It won't be so cool when one decides to chomp your head off!" Blaine growled. The bat near his bed screeched and flew aimlessly into to night. "You are pushing my last button."

"How?" Holland demanded. "I'm not even touching your bunk. Why does it matter to you if I get my head chomped off?" She winced as the bat screeched, but continued to move around.

"I will be the one blamed if any more blood gets on the comforters." Blaine growled menacingly. He had just about had it with this girl. He almost resorted to violence. "I can't have anymore casualties on my watch."

Blah, blah, blah, Holland thought, ignoring him and continuing to poke around.
