Blaine's Bunk

Blaine snarled at her....oh, if looks could kill. He rolled his eyes and continued to tidy up his bunk, getting ready for his 7 in the morning slumber.

Holland wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, and had heard so a million times. She continued to do what she was doing, ignoring Blaine completely.

"Goodnight....Morning...whatever." Blaine sighed and got into the bed. Foster mewed quietly, insisting on following Holland.

When Blaine made it to his cabin he set Josephine down and took a breath. Gods, if he had higher endurance that matched how fast he could run then he would be all set. He took off his sunglasses and rubbed his eyes as he closed the cabin's door and turned on several oil lamps the emitted a green glow. He yawned and called to his cat, Foster. When he slinked from the shadows and crawled to rest atop Blaine's shoulder, the boy smiled. "Welcome to Casa del Freakshow."

Josephine chuckled and sat on the bed, her green eyes observing the room. "It's not that bad." She ran a hand through her thick black hair. "I could get use to this."

Blaine chuckled and plopped down on his bed with Foster McGerald now in his arms purring. "It's good as long as you're cool with one of the Egyptian kids. If not then, well, we have crocodiles."

Josephine rolled her eyes and looked at the cat. "Who's this?"

Blaine raised an eyebrow as he realized he'd never introduced the two before. "Oh. Jo, this is Foster McGerald the polydactyl cat. Foster, meet Josie." The black cat blinked his huge lazy blue eyes at her and sneezed in greeting.

Josephine laughed. "Nice to meet you too Foster McGerald. "

Blaine laughed as well and scooted over, motioning for Josephine to take a seat. "You can sit if you'd like. And..." Blaine reached over to his nightstand to retrieve an album-like case and a...borrowed...laptop from the Athena Cabin. He unzipped the case to reveal many, many DVDs. "Want to watch something?" He asked.

Josephine sat down next to him and looked at the laptop. "You got any scary movies?"

Blaine flipped to a section in the book marked 'Horror'. "Sure do. Only the best ones, of course."

"Hmmm you pick I don't know any of these. " Josephine rested her head on Blaine's shoulder.

Blaine's eyebrows shot up. "None? Gods, where have you been?!" He smiled and took out...Saw and popped it into the waiting laptop. It loaded, then Blaine pressed play. He wrapped his arm around Josephine as the movie began, resting his cheek on her head.

"I've been under a rock. " Josephine joked around and looked at the screen. "This movie better be good."

"Not only is it good," The son of Khonsu grinned darkly, the lights from the laptop reflecting off of his eyes. "It's scaaary."

Josephine rolled her eyes. "Weirdo"

Blaine shushed her so that she could understand the storyline before most of the killing took place.

Jo lightly elbowed his gut and turned her attention back to the movie.

Blaine winced and removed his arm to rub his stomach. Hey, he was a little scrawny. Stuff hurt him a lot.

Josephine yawned and tried to keep her eyes open.

By the time the movie ended, Blaine was...tired. This was strange considering it was midnight, his usual active time. He stretched slightly, his arm somehow finding its way back around Josephine during all of the gore. He looked down at her to see if she was still awake.

Josephine was sound asleep, her face was glowing in the light of the green lamps Blaine had set up earlier.

Smiling to himself at the sight, Blaine carefully turned off and moved the laptop to its original place. He gently pecked Josephine on her forehead after making sure that she was in a deep sleep. "Goodnight, Josie." Blaine whispered very quietly as not to wake her. He didn't really know what his actions meant, but that they felt right. His other arm wrapped around her as he, too, fell into a deep sleep.
