Lan arrived at the climbing wall with no gear whatsoever. Not that he didn't personally own any, he was just going to fool around on the wall. He didn't want to damage any of his equipment, so he was going to simply use the camp's equipment. They had plenty of items to use compared to the single pack, which was more expensive as well. Better off the camp's then his.
The son of Aiolos walks into the small wooden shed that housed all of the equipment he would need to climb. The camp didn't allow anything that would secure people to the wall though. That would water the fun down. If you slipped on the wall you would simply die. The camp did offer climbing shoes, gloves, and chalk. All Lan wanted was a pair of shoes though. He wanted to feel the adrenaline pump in his body if he was to slip or something of the sorts. Sure, the boy was a bit reckless, but it was all in fun. The boy lived to have a good time, not to live a dull and boring life. Why not live life to the fullest? Why just waste it by sitting around saying "Maybe tomorrow"?
As soon as he slipped off his orange Vans and pulled on a pair of climbing shoes, size ten, the boy makes his way over to the wall. Well, here goes everything. The boy was going to put his life at stake and he knew it. That was living life to the fullest. Lan goes over to the hardest level wall. This was going to fun. The son of Aiolos puts his Caucasian right hand on one rock and his left on another one, slightly higher on the wall. The rock wall didn't implement the plastic rocks that most rock gyms used. It was a rock wall, not a plastic wall. The rocks were real, just like how the lava and water that spewed out of cracks in the wall were as well. The boy pulls his body up, his feet landing on a small platform that allowed him to get the correct footing to get started. With a look of determination splattered on his face, the boy starts to pull himself up, grabbing a new pair of rocks to bolt him to the wall. He wasn't very far up the wall and he was already sweating. It was quite hot out, and, for once, Lan was wearing a pair of brown cargo shorts and a blue and green striped shirt, zig-zag style.
This was going to be fun.
