I walked back into the room and sat down.[ So... how are you feeling?]

Ever dragged in the girl and set her on a bed. "You should carry an allergy pen," she mumbled and ran to a cupboard quickly for the medications things. She just looked for a label before coming back with a needle. "Gimme your arm."

I walked in, carrying the girl, and placed her on one of the beds. I had dropped Griffin's body off with whoever was in charge of the funerals. I sat down by the bed and closed my eyes.

I feel the warmth leaving my body. I start shivering again. I don't like this shivering. I'm grateful that the warmth gave me just enough strength to reduce it to a small shake every once and a while.

I take off my thick sweater and put it on her. Then I turn on the bed's heater. Then, I grabbed a large, thick blanket and put it on her.

I'm glad for the new heat. "Th-Th- Th-Thank you." I mutter. I quickly realize that this person didn't mean to upset me.

My brain is still working slowly. It takes me a while to find his answer, and that scares me. Do I not know my own name? It feels as if someone should answer my thoughts. Is that normal? Finally I find his answer. "Croatia. C-Croatia M-M-Melano. Y-yours?"

I smile again. "Alastor. Alastor ((Cue wierdest middle & last names ever but they sound so cewl!)) Omega Epilson. Son of Thanatos." I said.

I nod. "D-do you know where my mother is?" I ask. She should've been home half an hour ago.

"No I don't. You are at Camp Half-Blood. If my suspicions are correct, your mother is your mortal parent. Correct?" I asked.

I nod, and the whole previous scene comes rushing back at me. The rain, the last words ...something about a promise. I expect myself to double over and start crying right there, but I don't. I have no more tears to spare. "Griffin...oh, Griffin." I guess my eyes manage to find some tears, because next thing I know I'm crying into the pillow.

Tears are running down my face too. I patted her back softly. "It's okay." I said softly. Griffin was one of my best friends, and I don't usually show my emotions, but this was unbearable.

"Y-You knew him?"I ask through muffled sobs. "I refused to leave his s-s-side, after h-he..." I skip over the next part. "The only way I would ever leave him..." I look over at Alastor. "I'm s-s-sorry about that m-m-mother nonsense before." I wipe my eyes as best as I can, and reach for my mom's necklace."Sh-she died when I was very young. The cancer caught up with her after all those cigarettes. I guess I was just k-kinda out of it."

"It's okay. He was one of my best friends. And I understand. I found you sleeping next to his body in the rain. I brought you here." I said sadly.

I don't know what to say. I'm sorry for your loss. doesn't seem to cut it. Wanting to get away from the subject, I decided to play a game. Back in the orphanage, I used to play this game with newcomers to get to know them. "What's your favorite color?" I ask to start off.
