Walking around the Lake

I walked along the shore looking into the lake, thinking about all the football I am missing. But Camp is worth it, helping me survive and such.

Eli bit her lip and walked along the beach shore. Her eyepatch was over her right eye like usual, she wore her silver bikini top with jean shorts. Her grey hair flowed in the cool breeze as she walked along the shore.

I saw a girl walking along the beach in the distance. I couldn't see who it was. While I was trying to figure out I tripped over a rock and face planted it into the sand. I lay there thinking to myself, Idiot.

Eli smiled as she witnessed a guy face plant into the sand. She walked over to his side and crouched down. "Hey you okay there?"

"I'm fine," I said getting to my hands and knees. How embarrassing, falling over in front of a stranger. "I was just doing a random gravity check."

She laughed. "Oh really? And how did that turn out for ya?"

"It still works," I replied standing up, "By the way, My name's Ryan." I extended my hand out.

She shook his hand. "I'm Eli."

I saw he eye patch and opened my mouth to say something but quickly closed it. Some people just don't like to talk about stuff like that. "So," I said, "Who's your godly parent? Mine's Athena."

"Hecate." She fixed her eyepatch an looked at the water. "Are you wondering about my eye?"

I felt hot in the face, "I, uh, yeah. It is not often you see such a pretty girl with one."

OOC: I have to go now. Will be on later.

She looked at him with her one gold eye. "Pretty?"

I blushed,. Rubbing my arms, "Yeah. You are." I silently cursed myself. I am terrible at talking to girls. "That eye is amazing!"

Eli chuckled. "My right eye int missing its just covered. It's far to dangerous to leave uncovered."

"Well that's good," I said, brushing sands off of my shorts, "Wouldn't want a eye gone would we?"

She laughed. "Yeah...." Her faced turned serious again.

When her faced turned serious, I knew I messed up. "Hey," I said, "If I did anything to offend you I'm sorry."

"No, I just don't want to hurt you." She bit the corner of her lip ad covered her eye.

"Oh," I nervously rubbed my arm, "Does your eye have like special powers or something?"

She nodded. "It's very dangerous...I have killed may people with it."

"That's, um, pretty cool," I said running my fingers through my hair, "I don't have any powers or body parts that can do cool things like that."

She sighed. "Wanna see it? My powers?"

"As long as you don't kill me with it," I said smiling.

She chuckled and pulled of her eyepatch showing her red eye with a scar over it. "Back up."

I take a step back tripping over the same rock. I land on my tailbone hard. "Dang it," I said rubbing the sore spot. "How did you get the scar?" I asked quickly to avoid embarrassment.
