Walking around the Lake

Eli noticed the bubbles and swam under quickly trying to find Ryan. She found him being dragged by neredids. She quickly grabbed his hand.

She grabbed my hand but the nereids pulled back. I couldn't breathe. I kicked out my foot and got one of them in the face. They let go and we floated to the surface. I broke through and struggled to breathe.

Eli looked at him. "Oh my gods! What were those!?"

"Nereids," I gasped floating on my back, "Water Nymphs. They like to joke with campers." I floated there coughing up water and trying to catch my breath.

She looked down into the water. "That was so mean though!" She growled. "I'm gonna kill them. She dove under.

I cough, took a deep breath, and dove after her. I grabbed her around the waist and pulled her to the surface, "Stop! The don't understand campers. It's in their nature."

I took a deep breath. "They tried to friken drown you!" Her eye glowed re and she dived under again.

I dove after her and quickly caught up. I grabbed her again and fought with her to the surface. "Just let it be!" I pleaded while restraining her, "I won't let you go done there."

I pushed away from him. "Fine!" My eye glowed back to normal.

I released her and kissed her cheek.

She rolled her eyes and smirked. "Nobody touches my boy friend."

I laughed, then coughed up more water. I shuddered then smiled again.

She sighed. "Let's get you to the shore." She swam.

I nodded and swam towards shore. I reached it crawled out and then threw up. "Don't drink the lake water." I said throwing up again.

She gasped and rubbed his back. "Oh honey.."

I stood up, "That can not be healthy to drink."

She shook her head and smirked. "Yeah..."

I grabbed her hand and walk over to the blankets. I lay down and pulled her down with me.

She smiled and laid next to him. "Do you think we will ever leave the lake?" She snickered.

"We probably should," I said, "The human body can't go to long with out food. How about we leave tomorrow morning for breakfast?" I wrapped my arm around her and pulled the blankets up.

She smiled and nodded. "Sounds great."

I smiled and held her close to me. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

Eli slowly fell asleep in his arms.

I wake up to the sun shinning in my eyes. Eli was still asleep on my chest. I kissed her forehead and just held her there.

Eli smiled and hugged Ryan close to her.
