The taxi pulled up to the restaurant and I got out and held the door open for Eli, "Here we are."

Eli got out and smiled. "Thank you."

I pay the taxi then watch him leave. I turn and look at the restaurant. "Dang, this place is fancy." I whistled.

Eli blushed. "Do you think they will let us in?"

I grabbed her hand, "They will. No come on." I led her to the door. I held it open with a bow, "After you, my lady."

I followed Eli into the restaurant. In front of us stood a man in a tux behind a podium. He looked at us with an upturned nose of disgust.

"How may I help you two?" He said.

"Yeah, we have reservations for two. Should be under Martin."

He looked over a list, looked up and said, "One moment." Then turned and went towards the tables.

Eli smiled. "That was a nice face he made."she giggled.

"It was," I laughed. The tux dude came back.

"Follow me please," He said giving me another look of disgust. I smiled sarcastically at him. He turned and headed back towards the tables.

Eli followed behind them trying to hold in a laugh.

The waiter led us to a table in the middle with a small light dangling above, "Here you are, sir."

"Thanks you," I said smiling. He upturned his nose and left. I pulled out Eli's seat as every gentleman should.

Eli smiled and sat down. "Thanks."

I walked over to my seat and sat down. ""Well," I said, "Here we are."

Eli nodded and looked at the menu.

I looked over the menu glad I had just made a withdrawal. "What looks good for you?"

Eli bit her lip. "The lobster salad."

The waiter came back, "What will the young couple have tonight."

"Um, I'll take the Grilled Lobster Tails with Herb butter."

He turned to Eli, "And the young lady?"

"I'll have the lobster salad." Eli smile and handed the waiter the menu.

"That will be one moment." The waiter said through a forced smile. He turned and sulked back towards the kitchen. I turned towards Eli.

"I guess he doesn't like us that much."

Eli giggled. "Guess not."

"So what do you want to do after dinner?" I asked showing a small smile.

Eli smiled and looked at him. "I got some ideas."

I reached over and grabbed her hands, "Like what?"

She looked around. "You'll have to wait and see." She winked.

I grinned, "Sounds fun." A different nicer looking waiter walked up to our table.

"Would you two care for some sparkling apple cider?" He asked bowing.

"Would you like some?" I asked Eli.
