Central Park date

Xavier led her into Central Park, smiling at her as she did. The sun was setting and casting brilliant colors across the sky. New Yorkers walked alongside us until we got off the path, and into the thicket of woods by the pond. Tall, reflective skyscrapers stood like giants above us as I stopped, sitting on a fallen tree.

What was I doing in the park? I was having a date with this new girl, skyler. We had just met in the forest a few days ago and I had asked her out, well...I didn't use the word 'date' but it was obvious that was my intentions.

Skylar walked in with Xavier, still holding his hand. She didn't know I this was considered a date or just a friendly outing. She definitely had interest in Xavier that was no lie. Skylar sat down next to him on the fallen tree. "So..."

Xavier looked at her sitting next to him, and smiled. "How was your rest last night? You and your...siblings?" He asked. He was an underworld child, and usually he didn't get along with the men of ares. He wondered if he was going to get beaten up, but honestly he didn't care too much.

"It was good...I usually don't talk to my siblings. I'm the weird one in the cabin." Skylar admitted.

"I like the weird ones" he said, flirtingly as he looked up. "New York is sorta wonderful"

Skylar blushed and looked up at the skyscrapers. "It's amazing"

He smiled "different than Richmond for sure!"

Skylar giggled. "So is this a...uhm date?"

Xavier looked back at her "I guess it is" he smiled a bit

Skylar blushed a little more making her eyes stand out. "Oh haha."

"You have brilliant eyes" he comlimented her, looking around the secluded area

Skylar blushed. "T-thanks."

Xavier smiled warmly, although he was cold

"So?" Skylar rubbed her shoulders.

"So? What should we do?" He said taking off his leather jacket to shownhis tanned shoukders, party scarred on one

"Wanna walk more?" Skylar stood up and shivered.

Xavier stood up beside her and nodded "yeah" he whispered and put his jacket on her shoulders.

Skylar laughed when she felt the warmth of his jacket on her shoulders. "Thanks..."

He smiled "no problem" he said and took her hand gently

She looked down at their hands and smiled. "Smooth..." Skylar giggled.

Xavier smirked "I try" he said and laughed

Skylar rolled her eyes and walked away from people. "So tell me about yourself."

Xavier paused, walking with her as they traveled away from people. "Well I'm a child of Lethe, from Richmond, Virginia" he said and smirked before continuing. "My dad was in the FbI, I learned a lot from him for a while, made a friend with a son of athena who's dad was CIA. My dad was killed though, and I lived in the forest with my pet wolf and his pack for a few months before homeland secruity found me" he told her and looked for her reaction.

"Wow you had a tough life." She quickly kissed his cheek.

He smirked "I wasn't done" he said and laughed a bit as he squeezed her hand lightly. "I just love to leave people at cliffhangers"
