Private for Ryger and Cowgirl

"I'm fine!" I said anxiously, obviously I wasn't, I just hoped he wouldn't notice.

"Uh uh" I said shivering wearing his shirt.

I frown and just wrap my arms around her, "Alright then. But if you get any colder you tell me and we figure it out."

"Ok." I smiled at him admiring his determination, on making me safe. he definitely cared about me.

Some sand fell out of my hair and down my left side. I remove one of my arms from her and brush it off then return it to it starting position.

"So what should we do now? Just lay here and warm up?" I tried making conversation. Never really on of my strong points.

I sighed laying down on my back. "I don't know, Jace." I said trying to sound calm, even though I was burning up inside.

"I'll take that as lay here and warm up." I lay down next to her. Her voice quivered a little like she was forcing herself to be calm. "You are not alright. You're sick or something like that, we have to get you better."

"I feel fine!" I felt terrible lying to my boyfriend, but I couldn't have him thinking I was sick.

OOC: I just had this really good idea for the 2 of them. Just PM'd you.

"Then I guess we'll just sit here until you start feeling better or get better at lying. You are not fine. At least eat some ambrosia." I pull out a small baggie of the stuff out of my pocket. I held it out in front of me.

I frowned at him, then accepted the ambrosia. I took the plastic bag on slipped out the the block of ambrosia. I broke of a piece, and stuck it in my mouth. "There."

"That wasn't so bad was it?" I slide my self over closer to her and throw an arm around her shoulders. The sand was itchy but warm against my bare back.

"Do you want to build a sandcastle?" I asked, my mind just wandering with ideas. Still, building sand castle are quite fun.

I felt myself warm a little from the sand, and Jace's arm that he had placed around me. "I would!" I said standing up. I walked towards the wet sand closer to the water and started digging up the sand, getting ready for the castle.

As Darcy leaves, kicks sand into my face accidentally. I quickly sit up, blinking it out of my eyes. I turn to the side and spit out the little that got into my mouth. I look over and see that she has already started digging up the sand. I get to my feet and walk over to her, shielding my eyes from the sun.

I reach her side and drop to my butt. I take the sand Darcy had dug up and try to build a wall. It doesn't turn out how I planned, looking more like a hill. I sigh and lean back, "I have never been good at building them."

Darcy admitted that she wasn't very good at building sand castles, "I don't know, you seemed to be pretty good at digging up sand." I flashed her a grin. I laid down, stretching my feet into the warm shallows. I've always wondered what it would be like to be a kid of a water god. Power over water, wouldn't that be cool? All I can do is make a light. So awesome.

"Anything you want to do?" I dug my heels into the wet soft sand.

"Want to go canoeing?" I suggested.

I sat up, pulling my hair back into a ponytail and letting it go, "They have canoes at the beach? Shouldn't there be like float tubes or something." For a kid of the sun god, I didn't get out much. Eh, probably was working out, which is much better than a day in the sun, sorry dad.

"I see some!" I pointed to a rack of canoes.

I follow where Darcy is pointing and what do you know, there are canoes at the beach. I stand up, "Well, let's go get one." I offer my hand to her.

I take is hand and walk towards the canoes.

When we reached the canoes, I let go of Darcy's hand and examined the water crafts. After a few seconds, I gave up. I turned to Darcy, "Do you actually know what a good canoe looks like? Cause I have no idea."

"Nope." I said grabbing a canoe and dragging it towards the water.

I laugh, grab some oars, throw them in the boat, and help Darcy drag it towards the edge of the beach. We reached the end of the sand and I pushed the canoe into the water, "Go ahead and get in, I'll push us off."

I carried he boat to the water. I hopped in the boat as he pushed us out.
