by TheCastaway 11/28/2013, 11:42 pmAaron sits on the beach, soaking up the suns rays. "This is awesome..." He says. It was sunny, as usual in camp. And the sound of the waves against the beach calms him. He has his black swimming suit on, it has white hibiscus flowers on them. He watched the waves roll by, and just enjoyed the scenery.

I pulled my little puppy along my side on his leash. He seemed more interested in all the little tide pools. I layed out my towel and set my bag down on it. I was wearing a blue one-piece that really brought out my eyes and a pair of sweatpants that fit me perfectly for a run. My puppy pulled again and again at the leash finally escaping. He ran and landed right on a boy a few feet away. I ran after him, with my odd little limp.

I snap out of it as a dog lands on my chest. "Hey there, little puppy." I say reaching down, and letting him sniff my hand.

"Rocco! Rocco, leave him alone!" I yelled as the little fluffball of a german shepard landed on him. I finally catch up to him. I kneel down the best I can and Rocco comes to me. "I'm so sorry. He's still in training." I rub down on Rocoo's head as he leaps around the boy. "I'm Taryn." I say as I place out my hand.

"I've been here about a month," I say, matching his smile. "You?" Rocco nudged at his knee and layed down next to it.

"I'm really sorry about Rocco, again. I hope he didn't interupt." I looked down at Aaron's feet to see Rocco climbing around his ankles. "I was about to go for a run or swim. Do you want to come?" It was always nice to have some company. And I didn't think Rocco would let him go for a while anyway.

"Sure, I'll go." I say, smiling. I kneel down next to Rocco. "Besides, this little guy is sure sweet."

Rocco licked his hand a few times then jumped back up again. I handed Aaron his leash, "I'll be right back, you want to just go ahead and get in the water. Rocco can swim just fine." I ran back to my stuff and took off my pants. I glanced back to make sure Aaron wasn't looking and took off my running prothetic, grabbed my elbow crutch, and hobbled to the water. I dropped my crutch along the side and slid into the water, then swimming over to Aaron and Rocco with my boogie board. "Okay." I set Rocco up on the boggie board because he couldn't go too deep.

I smiled and swam along with them. "It's a really nice day, isn't it?" I asked, looking at Taryn. "The sun, the sand, the water. I guess it really doesn't change much, but you know." I said, making conversation.

"It's always a nice day on the beach!" I smiled. Rocco splashed at the water with his paw. That's an idea. I looked over Aaron. Right when he looked the other way a send a huge splashe his way. I smirked at him, "Your move."

"Oh. You know I can." I force more water his way. "Being the daughter of Triton has its benefits!" I smirked and did my best evil laugh. "And who are you the son of? A fire god? Cause your wave totally burnt out." I give my best middle school Oooooooo and start giggling.

Grimm walk onto the beach, the crisp wind ruffled his coat. Not as cold as Russia, he thought to himself. He walked over to Roxy. "You know i've always liked fireworks ever since my first day in America, July 4."

"I build all sorts of pyro technics with my dad. Ever since I was a wee lassie." Roxy grinned at Grimm "Any kind ya want to use in particular?" she slid her bag off her shoulder and unzipped it. "Oh gods wait!" she closed her bag "It's the solstice I have ta visit my mum!" Roxy darted off "I'll see ya around!" she called over her shoulder.
