miles didn't know if this was supposed to be a date or not. he guessed not, but whatever. there were still other times for that. he was sitting casually at the right edge of the beach, the white, warm sand pressing into the palms of his hands. it was an unusually warm day for fall, and he was surprised that it hadn't rained neither yesterday nor today. he was happy, though. this might be the last good day of autumn. he was shirtless underneath a simple red hoodie jacket, the hood up. his earbuds of his iPod were in, and he was listening to some punk rock. mainly panic! at the disco. his hair was messy, as usual, and side swept, but the soft wind ket blowing it to the other side, so that his bangs halfway covered his right eye. he was humming along to memories. he had brought his usual rucksack with him, aswell as some clothes to change into if he got too wet. he had layed down a towel behind his head, so that he was laying down, but his head was at an upright angle. he had gotten new lime green swimming trunks from the camp store, and they clashed with the bright red hoodie. should've just worn pink. miles said to himself and even let a giggle slip.
his hands held his usual waterproof white watch goku, just for emergencies. he fumbled about in his rucksack, then smiled as is fingers reached the two blow up mattresses he had brought with him. it would be fun, floating about on them on the clear, cyan water. "c'mon, then..." he mumbled as he looked at his watch. three minutes to five, which meant that maddy and him were meant to meet here in exactly three minutes.
