"About 3 days"jack said as he put some more logs on the fire

"Wow,that's a short time."

"Yeah i guess it is. but so far camp has been awesome"jack said as he got up and put more wood on the fire

"Yep,camp is awesome.All these people that understand you know what I'm sayin."She said.

"yeah i know what your saying. It feels so wierd being among people who have nevr met you but are you step brothers and sisters..."jack said remembering how wierd the normal was and how demigods never fit in.

She dug her toes into the sand,and took a deep breath,life seemed so perfect right now.She asked
"What time is it anyways?"

"umm... one sec"he said as he pulled out his watch.he took it off before getting in the water.and it read 3:26 so he said"its....3:26"then he threw more wood on the fire

She kept messing around with her hair,they she said"so...."She really didn't know what to say,boys didn't talk to her much,she had no experience,so yeah.

"man its getting chilly out here ."jack said relizing the conversation just became ocward so he said "so what was you life like befor camp half blood?"

"Uh well I lived in the dark ally's,I was homeless,and I lived with a homeless man so yeah.."Her life didn't sound very fun or exciting.

"oh...so umm"jack couldn't think of what to say so he improvised"wanna see a trick"jack said not waiting for a responce. he used hi power to take some fire from the camp fire and sartes making the bit he took change color

bic:"thats nothing"jack said as he let the flame sputter out then he started to focus and bam the 5ft tall fire was changing colors from orenge to red to white to blue to green ect.

Wow,Penny thought.What an amazing fire,just like Jack was,amazing.

jack looked at penny smiling and said"wow, you look amazing in the fire light"

"Thanks,you do too."She'd never been called amazing,she smiled.

"thanks jack said while silently thinking"i must be red as a tomato"he was smiling ear to ear yet unsure of what to say he really liked penny and wasn't sure if she liked him too

"d-do you wanna go out some time?"jack asked now as red as the fire he could control

"Yeah..Sure why not."She said.

Great!" was all jack could say, for he was at a loss for words for once in his life

"So how many girls have you dated,before me?"She said.Jack was pretty cute,awesome,and good-looking.He must've dating a thousand girls already,though sh has dated no boys herself.
