Blonde hair would curl between her fingers and behind her ears as she walked barefoot in the sand, cringing every few minutes from stepping on a part of a shell. Vallary's purple tank-top contrasted quite well with her dark denim shorts, but her arms and legs were covered with goose-bump while her hair kept her back and her neck warm. The sand was warmer, she thought as she nuzzled in it. she opened her bag, taking out a long blue scarf that she always kept just in case, and wrapped it around her legs. She nuzzled her chin in the cloth that covered her knees, and watched the ocean as the sun slowly came closer to it.

[font=Georgia]The sound of the ocean waves soothed throughout the air, leaving a feeling a calm and safe feeling. Aang scurried across the sand, eager to feel the cold ocean on his slightly naked body. He had been waiting all day to go to the beach, and although it left bad memories, he had slowly learned to forget all of them. He always had high hopes and wonders in his time at the beach, and he was always envious of the Poseidon and Triton kids, who were at the beach the majority of the time. He quickly dove head first into the water, surfboard tied onto his ankle. He swam across it, using long strokes. He swiftly got on top of his board and began to paddle again. A wave began to build up behind him, and he felt the very comforting feeling of being pushed by the wave. He quickly pushed himself up, landing in goofy position. He tilted along, guiding his board towards the shore. He had even used a blast of wind to push himself faster, and farther. As he sped onto shore, however, he spotted a girl. She looked around his age, maybe a year or two older. He lost focus on where he was going and zoomed right into the beach. His face got buried into the sand, where he sulked in embarrassment for a bit before getting up a few seconds later. A groan, and some sand, fell out of his mouth.

Anxiety swiftly through her when the footsteps of another boy appeared on the beach, and she tucked her head further down her thighs. She heard a groan coming from the boy who had just... fallen? She wasn't paying attention. Again, Vallary reached into her bag and pulled out a special drink that her friend Mariska gave to her.

She quietly read out loud. "Brings courage to the anxious and timid..."

Sounds like a load of bull. There was a small note tied to it. 'Just take a cap full at a time. I know your awkward @$$ isn't going to be able to talk to anyone without it.' How sweet. Unscrewing the cap, Vallary took a sniff. It smelled sweet, so it couldn't be that bad, right? Deciding against it, Vallary closed it back up and stuffed it in her bag. She stood up, and started walking over to the boy, ending up tripping over her scarf and falling face-first into the sand, only a few inches away from the boy.

"Uh..." Her face turned bright red and spoke quietly. "I guess we both fell in the sand..."

Vallary was never good at speaking to people, (EDIT)so she simply got up and quickly walked away from the beach.
