    "Ah, right." Vexil said as he quickly swiped the mashed potatoes out of his hair and onto a napkin.

    Vexil dropped the mashed potatoes, and it was quiet with some eye contact, making it a little awkward. Vexil wasn't very interested in meeting new people at the moment, he actually just wanted to get some food to go take a nap or sleep. But Vallary wasn't bad, so Vexil had decided to stay a little more to talk.

    "Where are you from?" He asked while he played around with a broken piece of plate.

    Vallary picked up a small cup that was sitting next to her, and without paying very much attention to the boy, commanded it to fill up with Dr. Pepper. As she drunk, she made spotty eye contact with Vexil, and things got awkward fast.

    Before answering his question, she again said Dr. Pepper to the cup and drank the whole thing within seconds. Following that would probably be a sugar high, but that would come later. For a little later, she filled the cup up with Orange Fanta.

    "I'm from California, the only fashionable state aside from New York."

    After a while, Vallary left.
