Sorry but you said it was because of the 'dumb gag'. If it's about your health then say it. Don't say it's because of our joke. I hope you get better soon though.

Alright, I have a suggestion to make: Everybody pull your pants up, take a step back, and walk away from the situation.

Luna: I understand what you're feeling. I really do: I have depression, too. I've had to deal with it for a long time and at my lowest point I lost control, over-reacted, flipped out and ended up making a lot of mistakes. I know that feeling of being completely hopeless and totally alone, but I promise it gets better. I know how upset you are, but you can't take it out on the people on this site. (Believe me, I know. I've done that before, too.) You've got to be patient with us because most of us don't understand what you're going through. I know you feel like you've been attacked, but you have to understand: when things like this happen, we feel like we've been attacked, too, because we simply don't understand. I know when you're depressed, things like this can easily set you off, but put yourself in our shoes: this, to us, was nothing but a harmless joke. We had absolutely no way of knowing that you were upset about the whole thing. We thought you were totally OK with the whole thing. And when you post something like this, it feels completely out of the blue and unjustified, to us. If we had known how you felt, things would've turned out differently. Please be patient with us: we don't understand how you feel.

Everybody else: please try to understand. Depression is a mental disorder: it messes with your brain, so people with depression don't see the world like people without depression. This was a harmless joke, that's all it was. But in her eyes, she felt as thought she was being attacked. Both parties are perfectly justified for feeling the way they do about the situation. Nobody is right or wrong, it's all just a matter of perspective. She needs to be patient with us, because we don't understand how she feels, but we also need to be patient with her.

I understand what you're going through. I really hope you get better. You didn't really know me, but consider me a friend :). You guys should really get off her case. She's going through something that you're not. She's not overreacting.
She's probably reacting as she would in any other case.
