Johnathan dashed into the woods with his scythe in hand. Then he paused for a while to wait for his half brother to catch up.

I followed right behind Jonathan, and was looking around for any signs of monsters. I yelled out, "If you see any signs of monsters, call it out!" I was ready to fight, I was primed, I couldn't be any more excited. I moved along, still waiting for a monster to jump out.

OOC: could you please stop using black font? It's hard to read.
BIC:"sure!" Johnathan shouted back. "Same goes for you too!"

    OOC: Okay.
BIC: I replied, "Yeah, I gathered." Then I heard a growl, almost sounded like a hellhound. I said, "I heard a growl. Keep your guard up, and stick to this area until we've spotted it."

    OOC: thanks!
BIC: "all right" johnathan said and approached where te growl came from. He heard the growl again, but kept approaching. Suddenly, something about as big as a sofa jumped out from the bushes at him. "Aaaagh!" He yelled and sliced blindly with his scythe. He was knocked down onto the ground and had the wind knocked out of him.

I saw a hellhound jump out at Jonathan and tackle him as he sliced blindly with the huge scythe that was still not to my taste. I jumped in and stabbed down with my hidden blade, disintegrating the hellhound into monster dust. Then I reached out my hand and said in a very serious tone of voice, "Come on, get up now."

Johnathan took his hand and stood up. He leaned on his scythe. "Thanks" he said, breathless. This camp was getting harder by the minute.

I said to him, "No worries. I've got your back." Then I asked, "And I'm sure you've got mine?" Some might see it as a joke, but I'd been stabbed in the back before…I had to be sure. I had faith in him, but the paranoia was still there.

"Of course, man. I wouldn't backstab you. I'm not that antisocial. Don't worry." He said.
