Name: Leah Elizabeth Howard. Leah is of hebrew origin and means weary or tired. Howard is derived from the english name Hughard. Leah finds both of the meanings ridiculous. She loves her name, regardless.

    Gender: Female.

Mortal Parent: Samuel Howard. Samuel was born on June 16, 1964 in London. Samuel is a primary school teacher in Liverpool. Samuel was a good father, and brought Leah up well. Leah loves him very much and tries to write him as often as possible.

God Parent: Aphrodite. Samuel met Aphrodite at an art gallery in town. They dated for 3 months, before Aphrodite revealed she was pregnant. She also revealed who she was. After she left, Samuel had dealt with the fact that she was never coming back, and instead directed his love to his daughter.

Date of Birth: September 9th, 1997. She is 17 years old.

    Place of Birth:Liverpool, Merseyside, UK

Hometown/Last Residence:Liverpool, UK. Leah lived in a small stone house in the suburban area of Liverpool.

Race/ethnicity: Caucasion. She has french ancestry.

    Accent: Scouse English Accent.

Skin Tone: Tan. Her skin gets very dry when it’s cold out.

    Eye Color: Brown

    Hair Color: Brown

Hair Length: A little past her shoulders and straight

    Height: 5’2

    Weight: 120lbs

    Body Type: Lean

Appearance: Leah has a roundish face and a pronounced chin. When she smiles, her cheeks look chubby and she absolutely hates it. She has a button nose. Her eyes are roundish-almond shaped. Her eyebrows are the same color as her hair and are of a medium thickness. Her eyelashes aren’t very long, but they do curve upwards. Her lips are close pointed with a thicker bottom lip.

Weapon: a fiberglass hunting bow that shoots celestial bronze arrows. Her quiver can hold about 10 arrows and doesn’t magically restock itself. All of the celestial bronze arrows are powerless also.

Armor: Leah wears whatever armor someone gives her.

    Pet(s): N/A

    Skills/Talents:
-Photography: Aside from her countless instagram photos, Leah loves photography. She prefers to take shots without any faces and lots of background. Her favorite type of photos to take, are long exposure night shots. She’ll often sneak out at night to take pictures of the stars and moon.
-Astronomy: Leah believes that the stars are the most romantic things ever. She knows the name of many constellations as well as certain stars.
-Map Reading/Navigation: Leah is gifted in navigation. She hardly ever gets lost and can read a map with ease.
-French: Like most children of Aphrodite, Leah has a particular gift in the language of love. She is close to fluent, although she’s not perfect.

    Flaws:
-Chubby Cheeks: Leah gets really self-conscious when it comes to her cheeks. She doesn’t have much fat on her body, except for her cheeks. When she smiles she looks like a chipmunk. Leah thinks she looks like a baby. Combined with her shortness, she usually gets mistaken to be younger.
-Short: Leah is five foot two. Everyone she knows towers above her. Her legs are a bit stubby and she hates it. She wears heels occasionally so she can get a better view of everything.
-Sensitive: Mention one of Leah’s flaws and she gets morally wounded. She doesn’t deal well with any type of criticism.
-Stubborn as hell: Leah hates admitting she’s wrong. She doesn’t particularly enjoy being told what to do, especially if she doesn’t want to do it.
-Nosey: If something interests Leah, she won’t stop until she knows everything. Her ability to understand the hidden part of peoples personality only strengthens her urge to know absolutely everything. If she thinks someone is lying, she will work tirelessly to find the absolute truth.
-Perfectionist: Leah spends hours upon hours working on her projects. She doesn’t like it when anyone rushes through anything and will criticize someone if their work isn’t up to par. This also makes her look very bossy and irritating. Especially because she expects everyone to do their absolute best.

    Strengths:
-Convincing: Leah has a certain charm to her, that is hard to deny. She knows how to use her appearance to persuade people to do what she wants. It isn’t charm speaking, just her wit. She also is very good at being inspiring and knowing exactly what to say when she needs to make someone believe.
-Intuitive:Leah has a way of deciphering the personalities of everyone she meets. She believes that every person has two different personalities. One that they show to the world, and one that they keep hidden. Leah has a way of finding out both personalities. This is through body language, what they say, and the stories they tell.
-Creative:Leah sees the world as a canvas. She loves finding the beauty in everything. She always is coming up with new ideas.
-Selfless: Leah is always putting others before herself, and is seen as humble.

    Weaknesses:
-Altruistic: Leah is loyal to the point of fault. She will sacrifice herself for anyone, especially the people she loves.

Likes: Art, color, the starts, doing good.

Dislikes: loud noises, big cities, bad manners, people who skip the queue.

    Fears: Small spaces.

Personality: Leah’s personality is described as INFJ. She is introverted, and prefers to have a few close friends opposed to many acquaintances. She relies on intuition and prefers to look at the outcome rather than the process. She prefers to make decisions on how she and others feel, rather than the cold hard facts. She places a high importance on judging, and likes to make early decisions and plan. She loves to look at the beauty of the world, but also capture the ugliness and grit of real life. She believes that there is always something good mixed in with the bad and no one is truly evil.

    Powers: N/A

    Social Status: Somewhat popular

Summer or Year Rounder: Leah stays year round

    Years at Camp: 2

    Life Before CHB:
-Birth to age 5: Leah was born at Alder Hey Children’s NHS. She was 5lbs 9oz. Aphrodite left right after they were discharged, at about three days after Leah was born. Samuel took raising Leah with stride. He had very few problems, and was allowed to bring Leah into work some days when she wasn’t with the nanny. It was hard, supporting a child with a teacher’s salary, but every break Leah and Samuel would go on adventures in the city. Usually to art galleries.
-6 to 10: Leah started school at the same place that Samuel taught. Instead of having lunch with her friends, she would go to her father’s classroom and they would eat together. Leah loved her father with all of her heart, and Samuel loved her more. On her 9th birthday, Samuel gave Leah her first nice camera. Leah spent the next years taking pictures of just about everything.
-11 to 15: Leah held onto a couple really close friends. When she was fifteen, her father revealed who her mother was, and took her to camp.

    Role-playing Example:

It was dark out, past ten o’clock, when Leah made her way through the forest. She kept her eyes on the sky, more specifically on Polaris. She was making sure she kept walking north, that way it’d be easy to return back to the cabin area. She could hear crickets around her, mostly far away. As she walked, nearby crickets stopped chirping, as if they were creating a bubble of silence around her. She walked lightly upon the ground, staying on the balls of her feet, trying not to make a sound. She carried her bow and quiver with her as a precautionary measure, the bronze glow of the arrows illuminated the path she walked. She stopped for a moment, and closed her eyes. She was far enough out for the sound of traffic to disappear, and for a moment, she felt timeless. It could be any year, she could be in greece, where her mother was worshiped more than she was now. It could be the medieval ages, and she could be a princess. Of course, once she opened her eyes, the illusion disappeared. The clothes she wore, no matter how plain, always ruined it.
And so, feeling a bit disappointed, she continued on. She had no particular destination, there was no need, the forest liked to rearrange itself. The only thing that could guide her were the stars above. She kept her eyes open, looking for something, anything, that would be beautiful enough to photograph. She saw some flowers nestled next to a rock, but she could only shake her head. Flowers were too overdone. She needed something unique, and beautiful. More beautiful than her mother. After a couple of minutes, she came upon a cliff. It was tall, almost twenty feet. She looked down from the top of it, at the rocky boulders below. The way the moonlight illuminated the rocks, reminded her of a choppy sea. The waves of rocks crashed upon the cliff side. It was perfect. Leah sat there, long after she finished taking a picture, staring at the ocean made of stone. Her legs dangled over the edge of the cliff, her heels scraping the face. She didn’t want to jump, she felt no need to leave her life. She was happy, plain as that. But she couldn’t help but think if there were others, who stood right where she sat, feeling the urge to just leap into the air. She had heard that there was a moment of euphoria, right before you started to drop, where you felt like you could fly. Except you didn’t.
It wasn’t until streams of light peaked through the trees behind her that she realized how long she had been there. She had never checked out for so long before. Leah stood up slowly, brushing the dusty dirt off her legs, and turned towards the sky. Polaris was now faint, retreating to wherever it went when the sun was out. By the time she reached the border between the camp and forest, it was gone. Until tomorrow, my old friend she thought.
