      Thought it would be interesting to see everyone's copy of "The Lighting Thief". Here's mine.

      I got it around the time, "The Sea of Monsters" and suffice to say, it got plenty of use. Its old, missing a few pages, and also has quite an array of coffee stains, from all the times I read it, and lent it to friends to read. So yeah, what do your copies look like?

    i've actually lost my copy of the lightning thief (CRI), which was pretty darn beat up, so instead i'll go with my favorite book in the series: the battle of the labyrinth

    ADMIRE IT. A few hundred years old and still beautiful and flawless, just like the gods. Yep, I've read it again a few times but I handled it just like you hold a baby. And the paint from the title is still almost unharmed, which is really amazing.
