"Whoa whoa whoa, little brother," Sawyer grinned, pulling him closer and resting her toes on a soft-edged, slippery rock to keep her neck and shoulders out of the water. She removed a streak of wet hair that was too close to her mouth, screwing her face up a bit, and grinned at Rody. "Not all guys here are stereotypes. Robert, from the Ares guys, is super sweet. Piper, Kara, Blake and a couple of other Aphrodite chicks ain't as girly as, cough, Drew or Cleo for example. As for the Athena guys, I've worked a lot with one of the gals there, Victoria, and she said there are a lot of -- wait, what did she say? Ah yeah -- sophists or something. Basically, people who think of themselves as smart but aren't really. Anyway. Don't debate with her on intelligence because she's gonna get into a whole philosophical debate about how intelligence isn't defined, so nobody knows if it can be measured or not -- yeah, whatever right."
She grinned at her little brother. "We're all different, really. Look at our cabin. Jordan's into quantum mechanics, I'm into steampunk and cyberpunk stuff, Chris does hydraulics..." Sawyer ruffled his hair. "You're right, we're all into building in tinkering, but we all have our very specific area."
