Play me a little tune

She was yet to be claimed and it's been a few hours since she arrived. Semele couldn't help but feel anxious about who her godly parent was too. The girl was talented and juggled a few abilities that could related her to any god. Well, not any. There were a few gods she had eliminated when she first arrived. The first two were Hermes and Athena. Semele was in no way a thief and didn't do anyone's bidding. Strike her down now Hermes because she already thinks you're the most boring god she's heard about. Anyways, she had came across a few Athena kids and found them beyond intelligent. If there was a word that meant super smart brainiacs kids who will most likely takeover the world at any second, she would use it more often to describe them. She was in no way like that at all.

Semele had taken almost all of the day just to look around the camp. But she was growing pretty tired and bored of watching most of the campers and needed some alone time. For awhile, she just began wandering around and stumbling across places and getting lost. There were several times she had to be escorted back to safe grounds by satyrs or as she liked to call them, goat boys.

The last time the satyrs brought her back, they happened to leave her in front of the music room."Stay where other campers can see you." A satyr told her slightly irritated.

"Okay." She spoke as they began to leave. Once they did leave, the sound of a drum began to play I'm her hear, turning her attention to the music room. She reached for the door and opened, and there seemed to be more instruments playing. Semele walked in and tried to close the door slowly behind her.

"Hello?" Semele called, her heels clicking against the ground."What happened to the music?" She was a bit disappointed that out of no where the music stopped. One minute she heard a whole band playing and the next she heard the CRASH and the room grew silent."I guess I was just imagining things..." She sighed before taking a seat at the piano, tapping the keys. She whispered the keys under her breath, tapping them until she got the sound she wanted. Semele stopped touching the keys to reach into her purse and pull out a bottle of vodka. She took a sip, smacking her lips together in a satisfying way."That's better."

She placed the bottle on top of the piano before she began to play it again. She began to sing;

Semele was suddenly startled by the voice of another person. She had almost forgot the reason she was in her . She almost forgot about the beautiful song she heard before playing and that was the whole reason why she was in there."Hey." She turned around in the chair to face some girl. She didn't look like the shy type at all to Semele."Oh thanks, really old song by Alicia Keys. My mom use to play it all the time. So did my dad..." She giggled a bit before standing up in her really short black dress.

"I'm Semele."

"I'm Semele. Daughter of... I don't know." She shrugged. At the time she wasn't sure, she didn't even know if her godly parent was a a god or goddess. The girl had two wonderful parents and didn't imagine having a third that was a god. Maybe she was a daughter of Apollo? She could sing and act? Or perhaps a daughter of Aphrodite. Semele did think she was the most prettiest girl but who didn't?

She slid over, grabbing her small bottle of vodka and taking a sip of it. Semele watched the girl play and she was a whole lot better then Semele. She could only play a few Alicia Keys songs because in school it was a trend. You watched each other play and then try it for yourself until you knew it by heart."Ooh." She said before joining in:

"Yes." Semele nodded, her head was beginning to spin a little."I don't even think I'm a demigod. I have a mom and dad. Me and my dad kinda look alike too." She didn't mention her mother, who was a beautiful black woman with long thick black hair. They had no resemblance whatsoever but Semele liked to believe they did. Their personalities were similar, so was their sense of style. She took another sip of the vodka and listened to the girl, Andi was her name, sing. Who was Apollo? God of music? Semele had to remember who the god was.

"How much fun is it here?" Semele asked after the girl was done singing.

"My mom and dad are cool people... Athena only thing that sucks about them is the fact that they want nothing to do with my Grandpa's mafia." Semele told her. She was always honest about who her family once. It was apart of her, the mafia, and she thought it was just something normal to mention in conversations. The cops once asked her about her Grandpa and she told them the truth. He was apart of the mafia and a really good guy, she also told them that he graduated from Harvard and really good at proving the cops wrong.

She inhaled the smoke. It was the kind of smell you didn't really want to get on your clothes but Semele wouldn't complain. Andi didn't mind her drinking, so she didn't mind her smoking."I don't want to train." She moaned."Prom? I went to Prom last year with a Senior... the prom was okay but the after parties are always the best. I'm not really into Prom either, I just like looking pretty and getting drunk afterwards."
