Gah, sooooo bored! And Pedro meant it. He was cooped up in the library, listening to some old dude go on and on about past famous demigods. Who cares is George Washington was an Athena kid? This was boring.
Surrounding him was his half-siblings in the Ares cabin, some of them were having an arm-wrestling match. His attention wasn't really on them, it was on the kids in the Other Gods cabin. Their cabins were mixed, there was actually two girls sitting at the table where he was; a really pretty ginger that made his old black tee and jeans look like rags and a brunette that was half-asleep. He was actually surprised that there was so many of these kids.

"So, I'll let you talk amongst yourselves. Maybe my speech inspired some ideas." The instructor wheezed out, which erupted a bunch of hushed voices.
"What's inspired for me is a nap." Pedro whispered to his half brother next to him who laughed at that.

To be honest, Eva was not paying attention to the speech at all. Why would she? Eva doesn't care if some historical person is a demigod or something. She doesn't even care that she was a demigod. It's totally boring and a waste of time. But on the other hand she didn't want to get eaten by any monster because that would totally mess up her hair.  Oh and she would be dead so that would suck too.
Anywhosies. Evanna was busy switching from poking the sleeping girl and then making snide comments about the sleeping girl  with her dearest Mary. She was actually enjoying herself.
But then she heard other people laughing, which is annoying because their laughter is disrupting her laughter. Which is not okay, because reasons. She turned her head, smiling as she saw her perfect hair flow behind her.
"Can you not like spread your joy around here because it's gross."

"Can you not like spread your joy around here because it's gross." The ginger had turned around from talking to her friend and didn't look so happy. Pedro smirked, he could really get a kick out've teasing her. His smirk grew as he nudged his half-brother, mouthing Watch This.

"Lo siento Princesa Jengibre but its kind've hard not to spread joy. It's what I do." He could see that his half-brother was starting to laugh slightly. better kick it up a notch. "I mean, I could give her some happiness,"He pointed to the sleeping brunette. "But she's sound asleep so I'm forced to only give you my wonderful happiness." His half-brother was now having a nice little laughing fit.

Eva pursed her lips and rolled her eyes at the boy. She adjusted her skirt and made her face #10, a face she only reserved for certain peg legged idiots. But this guy deserved it. 'spreading his happiness around' ugh please. Evanna has seen a much better attempt at this from a twelve year old. twelve.
"Do you also spread migraines because that is what's happening with me now." She smiled, now getting up from her seat. She did not feel like yelling over three tables just to talk to some kid. As she came to the table, she saw the Ares symbol on the edge of the table.
    "Ares kid, figures."

The ginger looked even more annoyed then before, Pedro could tell by the way she pursed her lips and rolled her eyes. The smirk grew into a cheeky smile as he saw the girl make her way towards his table. His half-brother, who had gotten bored, got up out've his chair and went over to the table where the arm wrestling was taking place, leaving Pedro alone with the ginger and the sleeping girl but she was no bother. He was't going to respond to her first question though; it seemed pointless to him.
"Ares kid, figures." She said after seeing the Ares mark at the edge of the table. Pedro rolled his eyes, the cheeky smile growing more.

"What did you expect? I was a Himeros kid?" He could picture himself one of them. He was hot enough for that. "What about you, Princesa Jengibre? Who's your magical parent?"

"Isn't there a rule where you have be attractive to have that god parent?"
Eva laughed at her own joke, man, she was good. Eva is like the best at jokes. She would totally do stand up if stand up wasn't so loser-y. Evanna is not a loser, loser. Even though, she did think he was maybe the tiniest of cute. But she was not going to admit that, like ever. Eva is the only one allowed to have a big ego around Camp. She is the boss.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" He probably did want to know, but was she going to tell him, no. He needs to work for it. Like get on his knees, sing her a little song and then maybe she would reconsider.

"Well, if you have to be attractive, then you'd be my half-sister." Pedro winked. No, he knew that he was attractive. He knew just the way girls looked at him when he trains, epically shirtless. But this girl didn't seem attracted to his flirting. Wow, that was a first.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" She said and Pedro fake pouted, smiling after. He had her ways to make her sing, especially when it comes to annoying her.

"Why, you should tell me! After all, I need to know the name of a pretty ginger."

"Oh, my mistake. I didn't realize that I was subpar to your...you." She didn't want to insult him. No, wait she did. Maybe it was the missed coffe this morning or the extremely boring class, but Evanna did not have the energy or the time to say anything insulting. Instead, she just took a seat across from the boy.
"Are you asking my name? Ugh, that's so superfifcial. Why do introductions have to come first." Evanna grinned and winked at the boy.
"Besides, do you really not know my name?"

Subpar to his him? Now that wasn't very threatening or insulting. It seems that she either needed some caffeine or Pedro needed to step up his game to make this girl more awake so she could be annoyed more. That wouldn't be that much of a challenge for the Mexican though.
"Besides, do you really not know my name?" The ginger said after giving him a quick wink. Oooo, two could play at this name.

"Lo siento but I'm rather new to camp. I haven't been informed of your lovely name yet but I will soon." Pedro said, taking her hand in his and giving it a quick peck.

Evanna Boches-Hyatt couldn't help but to roll her eyes when the boy kissed her hand. Not that she was surprised either, I mean...look at her. Not to be cocky...no wait, Eva is the poster child for cocky. But she would much rather call it confidence. Is it so wrong for the daughter of Anteros to have a little confidence? No. She was the daughter of a minor, minor god who no one has ever heard of. She is allowed t think highly of herself, thank you very much. And if you have a problem, you can take it up with someone who cares because Eva is not your girl.

It was true, Eva has not seen this boy at camp ever before today. Well, she has seen glimpses of the boy, but she was pretty sure that he was always in the clump of the soccer boys and Eva has no time to look at that pile of sweat. Eva actually doesn't really pay attention to boys period. At least not demigod boys. Once you're surrounded by them, do you really want to have relations with them.  But hey, if this guy is going to play the 'kiss the hand game', then two can play at this game.

Eva put on fake smile number four, a smile that looks pretty real but eh, Evanna was not trying here.
"How soon then? Because I don't like giving answers."

This girl seemed to have a big ego or that she was just snobby. Pedro and sealed with girls like her before, its fun to annoy them. This ginger was going to be even more fun to annoy, at least when he learns her name. Which should be soon, since he has a lot of friends that know stuff and people.

"I should find out soon, I have my ways bonita." He said nonchalantly. "But it won't be that long, I'll have to find out the name of a pretty ginger."

"Are you trying to flirt with me?" The ginger laughed, taking her hand out from his grip. To be honest, Eva wasn't very good with flirty things. Yeah sure, go ahead and laugh. Evanna, the daughter of one of the servants of Aphrodite. But she is witty, she has that going for her.  Can witty be seen as flirty? Is that a thing?

Hold up, is Eva doubting her wittiness skills? She doesn't do that. Evanna doesn't do that. Eva is this confident woman who doesn't give a crap about other's perceptions of her. But here she was, worried that she was in the middle of what she thought was a flirt war. Just the whole concept of flirting really bothers her. Yeah sure, she will do the wink and flip her unreasonably red hair, but saying words is weird. Gods, does that make any sense??
    "Eva."

Pedro faked a pout when the ginger pulled her hand away from his grasp. Her hands were soft though, he had to give her that but he wouldn't say that out loud. Anyway, Pedro laughed a little when she did. Purpose flirting, yes, but not for those reasons. No, thats just wrong.
"Not for those reasons." He smiled, crossing his arms on the table. His abuela would've killed him because she finds having you elbows on the table was deemed "improper" in her book. Pedro didn't really care; he only had his arms up whenever he wasn't with her or else he'd get smacked with a wooden spoon.
"Eva." He could barely hear it but he did. Her name was Eva, really pretty.

"Me llamo Pedro." He said. "Its a nice name. Suits you well bonita."

eva rolled her eyes, flicking her hair out of her face.
"i'm sorry, did you say pedo?"
evanna laughed, lacing her fingers together. she was funny, extremely funny. no but seriously eva originally thought the boy said pedo. who would ever name they're child that? though, her mother did name her evanna. and then gave her two last names.

she knew eva fit her well, eva is a very nice name and she fits it well. evanna, not so much.  eva hated the name evanna ever since she found out the dog on that children's show was named evanna. and eva is not a dog. definitely not a dog. eva looked back up at pedro, semi-grinning.

    ooc-shooort, sorry.

Pedo? Did she just call him Pedo? Pedro resisted the urge to roll his eyes, instead he flashed an amused smile. Funny thing is that when he first came to camp his own half-siblings didn't know how to pronounce his name right. There was Pedo or Peter instead of his real name Pedro. Eva just brought back memories.

"I think you mispronounced my name bonita. It's Pedro." He rolled the r to give his name flair, plus he liked the sensation.
