I have a little problem..

Hi! I don't think anyone will know/remember me, but hi (again), it's Jea! So, I used to be an active member of this site, but I left for a year (it doesn't feel that long..) because of school studies... Now I'm back. Maybe.

Here's the thing: I am struggling between coming back to the site or not. And you don't need to know me, but if you guys could give some advice possibly?

Pros and Cons to staying/not:

Pros:
-I have had this...craving, for lack of a better word...for rping after finishing the PJ series
-This site is the best, and it was so fun before!!

Cons:
-One of the reasons I left was because I spent too much time on this site, and now that I'm a year older and a grade higher, I should probably focus on homework even more...
-I'll either spend too much time on here and procrastinate on hw or do hw and fall behind on my rps

If I decide to become active on here again, I'll try to start fresh (if thats possible), with only one or two of my past characters.
I know the better choice academically is probably to not come back, but...*sigh* I don't know. Any solutions? I won't feel hurt if you tell me I should just stay away..

your cons are identical and entirely based on self control. Simply allow yourself a certain amount of time on the site, and then get off of it to do work. Enforce that discipline, and managing both is quite doable.

maybe you could come on the site as a reward, like when you finish all your homework and studying you can come on, and until a certain time or something

and trust me, i take AGES to post in my topics. sure, my rp partners ask me to post and i do try to regularly, but if you have other things going on in your life i think your rp partners would understand!

Yeah that's a good idea...hopefuly I would finish my hw early...would make a good incentive. :)

It's entirely your choice, but i think you should either not come back at all (no offense, but i would know. I'm falling begind in grades and have reduced my time on here). It would be better for your school life and you could just hop on the site every once in a while, too.

You don't know me, but I would still like to state my opinion. I think you should come back (mostly because I'm totally biased to this sight) but only maybe thirty minutes before you go to sleep, ,so you have done your hw and stuff. Plus, you give yourself some RP time and maybe just chatting with your friends. It is your choice, though.

I'm actually starting something new today, which sorta relates to this. I'm giving myself thirty minutes or so after school for rp, talking to friends, but only after i've finished homework for the first period of the day the next day. And then I have an activity and do the other period (I really only have like four classes w/ homework out of eight.) and then I have the rest of the time from like 9 to whenever i go to sleep to do whatever.

I think I will come back onto the site (at least to chat with friends and a couple rps), except waay less than I used to. Maybe I'll pop on a few times a week, and if I'm in rps I'll try really hard to get my work done early.
I love this site! And I think its great that you guys bothered to respond even if you didn't know me :)

And btw Rovender Kitt, I don't take any offense. :))



One more question if anyone knows the answer: is there a way/how to delete characters? I made some really rushed ones before I left and they're...blah. :P

edit: or do I just kinda...ignore them...?
