Name: Margot Hui Campbell. Margot derives from the name Margaret, which means “Pearl”. Although according to urban dictionary (a website Margot has recently discovered) Margot means “A rare, small woodland creature known for being happy and cute. Often the little fur ball will lure its victims in with its kitten-like charm only to force them to pet them and later eat them alive. Despite their evil nature, Margots are widely loved and sought after throughout the world.” This makes Margot laugh. Hui is chinese and means intelligent. Campbell is scottish and means crooked mouth. Although all Margot tends to think of is the soup.
Father: Vincent Campbell. Was a dentist in Chicago. Born in 1942 in Chicago. He is currently 72, and still kicking. Although he is enjoying retirement in Hawaii. He and Margot got along fairly well, they didn’t communicate much though.
Mother: Mei Zhang-Campbell (formerly known as Zhang Mei, until she was married) Used to be a teacher. Born in 1944 in Beijing. Moved to Chicago in 1947. Currently 70. Also enjoying retirement in Hawaii. Margot is her only child. Margot and Mei clashed a lot. They didn’t have the best relationship, especially around the time Margot left for the hunt. Now both of them feel bad about it and want to make amends. Margot just has to track her down.
Date of Birth: August 15, 1970. She should be 44 years old, but due to extenuating circumstances she is only 16.
Place of Birth: Chicago, Illinois. Margot grew up in a nice house in the suburbs.
Hometown: Chicago, Illinois.
Race/Ethnicity: 1/2 Chinese (from mothers side), 1/4 German (father’s side), mainly English. There’s got to be some scottish in there somewhere, since her surname is scottish.
Accent: Inland North American English. Also known as a Chicago accent. Margot joined the hunt in the 80’s, which means she still has a lot of that old jargon. She says things like “how very” and “what’s your damage?” she says things are “the bomb” and, yes, says things are “grody”.
Skin Tone: Light olive. Tans easily. She has some acne on her face THAT WILL NOT GO AWAY. Its the only regrets she has for choosing to be a teenager forever.
Eye Color: Dark brown
Hair Color: Medium brown, lighter tips.
Hair Length: wavy that goes a couple inches past her shoulders. It’s of medium thickness.
Height: 5’5.
Weight: 126lbs.
Body Type: lean/muscular. Mesomorph. When she joined the hunt she was kinda scrawny, but that changed very quickly. She is now pretty muscular, and she will gladly show you her “guns”.
Appearance: There are a few things in Margot’s appearance that come from her chinese roots. She inherited her mother’s almond shape eyes and her less prominent cheekbones. Her dad gave Margot her square-ish chin and her slim, pointed, nose. Her mouth is somewhat small, and her lips are often chapped because she keeps on losing those chapstick tubes.
Thankfully, Margot’s appearance doesn’t reflect her 80’s origins. She ditched those neon t-shirts back in ‘96. She usually wears the hunter’s uniforms. You know, the silver jacket, combat boots, jeans, et cetera. When visiting camp, or trying to blend in in the “real world” she’ll wear an outfit that is of the fashion. Depending on the year. Of course, when there was that brief time a few years ago when the eighties were in, Margot broke out those neon clothes.
Weapon: A silver colored fiberglass hunting bow that can compact into a rectangle about 12”x2”x2”. Sort of like hawkeye’s bow from the Avengers movie. Without all the extra gizmos of course. Margot also has a quiver that can fit 13 cb (celestial bronze) arrows, although once she’s out of arrows she either has to go retrieve them or find new ones. She also is equipped with twin cb hunting knives, both about 5 inches long.
Armor: Margot wears the armor that is handed to her. Most of the time she doesn’t like wearing armor.
Pet(s): A hunting hawk named Winona. Yes, she is named after Winona Ryder. Don’t judge. Winona isn’t really skilled at much. Margot has taught her how to find people, to throw away trash, to go back to camp, and other small tasks. Although, half the time Winona doesn’t do anything. Margot has a hard time figuring out if it’s just because Winona’s dumb, or if she’s just disobeying.
Skills/Talents:
Close combat fighting: Margot learned close combat fighting when she joined the hunt. It helped her gain muscle mass and its gotten her out of many sticky situations. Over the years, Margot has mastered the skill, and is willing to teach anybody who asks. Although, she is a tough teacher. You’ll probably spend your first year doing strength training. She loves to make people run.
Piano: Margot was fairly decent at piano before she joined the hunt. She’s probably a little rusty, but she could play Fur Elise if requested.
Archery: Margot was taught archery when she joined the hunt. It came somewhat naturally to her, and she has surprisingly good aim. Although she isn’t as interested in archery as she is close combat fighting.
Teamwork: When Margot joined the hunt she was a very independent person. She’d rather do things by herself when given a task. Over the years, the hunt has molded her into a team player. Now, she much prefers having her fellow hunters by her side.
Leadership: Margot was already a natural leader when she joined the hunt. She has refined and improved on that skill over the year and is more than willing to lead a hunt, or help out a new member.
Prepared: Margot is always prepared for when things take a wrong turn, which is quite often. She always has a backup plan and/or a way out. She makes sure everyone knows the plan when going on a hunt, so that everyone is ready.
Strengths:
Confident: Margot is very self assured about her personality, and her appearance (except for that damn acne) she knows that to be a good leader, one must always look like they know what they’re doing, even if they don’t.
Efficient: When Margot is given a task, she will do it, no matter what. She isn’t a procrastinator and always has the motivation to do what needs to be done. If someone else can’t do their task, she will do it for them. She doesn’t even mind doing the menial tasks, because she knows they have to be done.
Energetic: Margot gets excited about the randomest of things, whether is a new member, a new sight, cool new boots. Its not hard to get her pumped.
Charismatic: Margot mingles very well. She has no problem introducing herself to new people, and she makes friends fairly easily.
Somewhat funny: Margot likes to make jokes now and then, and sometimes people laugh.
Flaws:
Stubborn: Margot is very used to getting her way, and she doesn’t want to change it. She isn’t very lenient at all, and it’s her way or the highway. It will take a lot of persuading (sometimes bribing) for Margot to give in.
Inpatient: Margot doesn’t like to wait at all. She gets bored very easily. If someone is taking forever, she will take over. Or make sure they speed up. Time can not be wasted.

Holds grudges:Margot isn’t the type to forgive and forget. It took her fifteen years to get over her disagreement with her mother. If you betray her trust even the slightest of bits, she will never trust you ever again.
Acne: Margot has terribly oily skin and that mixed with the fact that she’s always sweaty and running around in the dirt equals horrible skin. It drives her nuts.

Arrogant: Margot tends to think that she’s all that. She sometimes likes to brag about things, and it annoys people. She also likes to prove that she’s all that. Which gets her into trouble a lot.

Personality:Margot is a Entj on the myers briggs scale. She’s extroverted, which comes in handy because it helps her get along better with people. She’s intuitive, and relies on imagination and pays attention to what could happen as opposed to what has happened. Margot is objective, and tries her best to stay level headed. She listens to logic. The best way to earn her respect is by being as assertive as she is. She also holds respect for those who have more experience than she. She has gone through a major personality change/adaptation since joining the hunt. The reason she joined the hunt in the first place was for the immortality. She was (and still is, but not to the same degree) very self oriented and selfish. Everything that she did was for her own personal gain. The attractiveness of living forever was worth giving up her family and boys (although she was never really interested in them in the first place). She was very independent and hated working as a team. But, the hunters helped her transform from someone who was self serving and mean, to someone who loves to work with the hunters.

Life Before the Hunters: Margot grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. When she was younger, people would tell her that she had the perfect family. Of course as she got older this became less and less true. Her arguments with her mother started to tear the family apart, and her poor father was stuck in the middle of it all. She went to a good school, got good grades. She lived a normal life, because she was a normal girl. Although she never really was satisfied with a normal life. She thought there were too many things to do, and not enough time to do them. She wanted to see great things. She could always see through the mist, so she knew crazy things were out there. One day, almost a week before her 17th birthday, she stumbled upon the hunters when they were on a hunt. She signed up almost immediately after they mentioned immortality. They didn’t even offer she just begged for them to take her. Eventually they gave in and Margot was a hunter. Her parents thought she did it to spite them, and she sort of did. Margot and her mother last saw each other when Margot was packing her bags to join the hunters. Afterwards Mei and Vincent had to come up with a cover story for their suddenly absent daughter. After talking it over they decided to say that she was with Mei’s family in Beijing.
Roleplaying Example: It had been ten years since Margot had joined the hunt and she was still awestruck whenever they went to Camp Half Blood. I mean it’s a giant camp for people that were way more cooler than her. And she got to be there because she herself was cool! Well, not as cool as the demigods. She was still working on being as cool as them. Why couldn’t she have a godly parent? Someone told Margot to stop with the drooling. She wasn’t drooling. She was just so mesmerised by this place. There were freakin’ flying horses, man. She did feel a little bit superior than all the demigods though, they didn’t have immorality. Well, she didn’t have total immortality but that’s a whole other subject she didn’t have time for. Margot wished she got to go to a summer camp like this, where she could learn to fight and climb the rock wall and hang out with other magical people. Wait. There was nothing stopping her from doing this right now. She could go climb that rock wall that was currently spewing lava. She was going to do that. She was so going to do that. Margot started running towards the rock wall and no amounts of shouting and scolding could bring her back.
