The Nightmare and The Dove

I say, "That's awesome!"

"It totally is! What's your favourite band?" she asked him.

I say, "Linkin Park."

Bella's jaw dropped. "Me too!" she exclaimed.

I smiled and yawned. I say, "Do you promise to keep the nightmares away?"

"I promise to try my hardest." she said.

I say, "OK..." He cuddled her and slowly drifted off to sleep

Bella smiled and stroked Derek's head, humming softly.

I shook for a moment but stopped when she stroked my head. I snuggle closer in my sleep

"It's alright." she said soothingly.

I smile and for the first time in forever sleep peacefully

Bella smiled softly as Derek relaxed.

I say in my sleep,, "I love you Bella..."

Bella froze. She didn't know what to say. She continued to stroke his head and didn't say a word.

I smile and just cuddle while asleep

Bella sang softly, hoping he wouldn't have nightmares.

I woke up but pretended to still sleep while listening to her sing

Bella inspected his face as she sang, brushing the hairs from his forehead.

I smile more and finally open my eyes

Bella blushed and looked away, ceasing her singing.

I say,, "Whats wrong?"

"I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were awake. I'm sorry about the singing."

I say, "Its OK... I liked it..."
