Hildowen Date #3-Movie and Games

Owen went to the game room, around three. Very luckily, his prediction was right; no one else was there. Most people were outside at this time, playing sports or the such. Owen had taken extra pride into making this date the best; he had hit the showers before, and tried to smell his nicest and look his nicest. He had Old Spice on, mostly because he loved the commercials. He was dressed in a white button-up shirt, nice jeans, and tennis shoes. Sorry, no dress shoes for him. But everything else, yeah. He looked at the DVD selection, wondering which to choose. It was hard to think just five hours prior he had seen her last. It had seemed like days; Owen was 99% sure he was love-sick.

Hilda walked into the game room around 3:15pm dressed in a pair of white capris and a gray blouse. She wore her white sandels and a gray head band. "Hola, ¿Como estas?" Hilda walked toward him nervously. "What movie are we gonna watch?"

"Hey. It's all up to you." He sat on the nearby couch, turning the lights off, to give it the movie theater effect.

"uh, what about Mockingjay Part I?" Hilda asked as she chose the movie and went to sit down beside Owen, holding her knees to her chest, letting her sandles slip off.

"Yeah, sure." He got up to put the DVD in, then sat back down, so their shoulders were touching. Owen was still tired, despite the 3ish 4ish hours of sleep he got. He slowly worked his way to put an arm around Hilda. He yawned a bit. He wondered how long it'd take Hilda before she snapped again on him.

Hilda sighed and stared at the screen. "If you don't move your arm from around me I will break off your middle finger and shove it where the sun dares not to shine." She said, moving to the other side of the couch, blushing deeply.

Owen quickly removed his arm. Apparently she would snap sooner than he thought. So he sat on the opposite side of the couch, continuing to watch the movie.

Hilda stared at the screen, glancing at Owen here and there throughout the movie. Little by little she inched toward him, blushing more and more.

Owen noticed her inching. He started laughing and sat back by her. "You know, Temper girl, I think you're wonderful."

"Temper girl? What type of nickname is that, Owen?" She asked as she slowly snuggled up next to him, still staring at the screen.

"If you prefer Temper tantrum, that's fine." He was a bit amazed that she was snuggling up to him. He went in for a kiss, only to be interupted by a 12 year old tumbling over the coach, nearly on top of them.

"Hey, Owen!" Teagan said.

Hilda had planned to kiss him back, but stopped when the little boy came in. She quickly moved back to the other side of the catch and looked at the tv, disappointed.

"Eyyy, Teagan....this is Hilda Velez. She's my good friend."

"Good enough that you two were going to kiss, I see?"

"Why do you insist on ruining my life."

Teagan looked at Hilda. "Sup, the name's Teagan."

"Teagan-"

Suddenly, three more of Teagan's 12 year old friends came in.

"WHO'S UP FOR SOME COD: GHOSTS?"

Owen looked at Hilda. "Let's leave. Like now."

Hilda rolled her eyes and stood up, heading for the exit. "I'm so sick of boys." She growled, pushing to of them on the ground before leaving the game room. Pissed.

Owen left with her. "Wait, wait. This date is not going to end just like that." He smirked at her, and slowly went in for a kiss.

She sighed and gave him a quick kiss. "There. Happy?" She turned back around. "Is your cabin a quiter place or no?"

"The Hermes cabin is about as quiet as a Mexican fiesta. How's the Athena?"

Hilda shook her head. "It's not quiet. My siblings are always coming up with ideas and talking about them."She answered and leaned against the outside wall. "Uh; If you want we can go to the observatory or something? I dont know really..."She whispered, almost wanting to spend time with him...alone.

"Observatory, during the daytime? That's not the greatest idea. Unless..unless you want to go to the lake. The lake's ten times quieter than the beach, and it's a bit more peaceful, even though I prefer the beach. So...how does the lake sound?"

She sighed and shrugged. "Whatever you want, loser." He looked down, frowning at the fact of going to the lake. "Can we just go to the library then?" She smiled a bit and whispered in his ear. "I might need somewhere to sit..."

Owen smirked, nodding. "The library sounds great." He started heading towards it.
