Hildowen Date #1- Cheeseburgers

Owen:

Owen waited at the Mess Hall, the best date-place CHB offered. He had already prepared two Diet Cokes and two cheesburgers, followed by a daisy in a flower pot in the middle of the table. He couldn't find a rose. He wore all black. Black jacket, shirt, pants, shoes, etc. He looked around for Hilda. It was now 7:58 PM and he was growing worried. He took a sip of his Coke.

After pacing the Athena cabin's floor and sparing with several people, the demigoddess Hilda decided to meet with Owen. She was about ten minutes late though when she finally came to the mess hall dressed in a long gray dress and boots. Hilda noticed Owen in the corner and blushed a bit, unable to move toward him.

Owen awkwardly waved at her. "Hey. So we've kissed, almost killed each other...let's start with names and our story of demigod-ness." He motioned for her to sit.

She bit the inside of her cheek and nodded, walking over to the place where Owen had set up for them. "It's...nice, I guess." She mumbled, playing with her hair.

Owen nodded. "Well. I'm Owen, as you know, Tier, and also a son of Hermes, as you know. I'm good at combat and sports, specifically soccer, although I'm not athletically built, more like scrappy, I'd guess you say?...I am really stealthy and I can steal easily. I have a few really cool powers..I lived in Italy as an infant, and moved to America when my mother had to, to like, get a job. And you?"

Hilda listened to what Owen had to say before telling him about herself. "Well, my name is Hilda Marie Velez, daughter of Athena. I'm from Chile and I love to read.." He crossed her arms and studied the son of Hermes' face and features.

"Chile, cool. Oh, so Spanish was the language you were using earlier! Hmm, reading, it depends on the subject I guess. By the way, you look really gorgeous right now." Owen was pretty sure that was his first non-pervy-or-rude compliment. "I like some types of sciences. I usually don't spill that one to the ladies, but since you're a daughter of Athena, I'm assuming you're OKay with that."

"Si." Hilda smiled a bit before quickly wiping it off of her face. "Thanks for the compliment. You look decent." She said as nicely as possible. She crossed her legs under he dress and smoothed out her hair. "Do you study genetics or physics? Or read books of powerful women like Catherine the Great of Russia?" She asked, perking up a bit.

"Well, I kinda do Space science, Zoology, or Botany. And I don't really read anything history-wise. I assume by the fact that you banged my shoulder up that you are inspired by the great women of...history?" He didn't really know how to word that. He finally took a bite of his cheeseburger.

Hilda nodded as her smile came back on her face. "Like Joan of Arc? Yeah she was amazing. That is until she was burned at the stake..." She mumbled, laughing a bit. She took a sip of her diet coke and made a face. "Er, I rather of Dr. Pepper." Hilda stated, staring at Owen

"Dr. Pepper? OKay, that's cool." He got up, getting her a Dr. Pepper. He put it on her side of the table. He was about to say something along the lines of "what was Chile like?" then he saw three guys walk in.

"Damn! Those are the three guys I stole twenty bucks from-each! We better get out of here!"

Hilda looked over her shoulder at the three guys and struggled. "So? What are they going to do?" She asked him, taking a bite out of his cheeseburger.

"Beat me up, of course- they're bigger and stronger than me." Owen nervously bit his fingernails.

She sighed and rolled her eyes. "Fine. If it makes you feel better we can run and leave." Hilda grumbled something in Spanish and quickly shoved a fry in her mouth.

"Unless...I don't know, we could prank them." Owen grinned wildly.

She narrowed her eyes. [color=gray]"I don't prank people, I break them."[color] Hilda stated and got up to get an apple from the serving table.

"Fiesty, fiesty, I see, I see. But that might be dangerous. I don't want them to mess up your pretty face."

"HEY, IT'S HIM!" one said.

"Great."

She narrowed her eyes and activated her celestial bronze dagger that she had brought along with her. Hilda turned around to face one of the guys. "Can you please leave alone. We're trying to have a day here."

"OKay, we'll just leave like that, pretty gal. This guy owes us sixty dollars. GET 'EM."

The other two grabbed Owen.

Owen struggled. "Get off of me! I'll give you your sixty bucks."

The demigod held the knife at one of the guy's neck, waiting for him to slip up. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't make you bleed." She hissed in his ear.

"Go ahead, kill me. But don't be surprised to what happens to her boyfriend."

The guy pushed Owen into a table. The other two guys started beating him.

She kicked the guy in the bend of his knee while she activated her shield in one graceful move. She swung the side of the shield at the other's guy head, hopefully knocking him out. [color=gray"I'm not his girl friend."[color] She corrected and readied herself.

Owen watched in amazement as two guys were taken out by her. He, coughing, slowly got up. He slowly walked towards the last guy, talking to Hilda, and punched him as hard as he could in he face. It wasn't enough to knock him out, but he bled badly and fell to the ground. Owen kicked him in the face to finish the job off.

He coughed. "Thanks, Hilda." That throw hurt him in the stomach. "I don't think I'll be able to eat anymore." He smirked, then went in to hug her. Why, he didn't know. Maybe he just wanted to, or maybe the fact that she saved him from a beating, or....he didn't know.

Hilda deactivated her weapons before crossing her arms and watching Owen finish on of the guys off. When the son of Hermes tried to hug her, she pushed him away and stated, "You owe me another date since you ruined this one." The daughter of Athena started to walk toward the mess hall exit. A small piece of her was disappointed with how the date went.

Owen saw her fiestiness come out again. He smirked when she told him that they would have another date. That wasn't actually part of the plan- there was no plan; he actually never had a second date. The girl either completely rejected him off the bat, or on the first date, if he was lucky. He grew a bit suspicious, but he didn't dare to object; he defiantly wanted her to be his girlfriend, eventually. He adjusted his jacket. nodding. "See you tomorrow at eight; err, let's have this date in the forest this time, however," he said, and exited the mess hall.
